Currently hunting is lacking in terms of income compared to other activities.

Allowing us to slot gems such a crit ones into matchlocks would allow us to kill hunting targets faster thus increasing this profession's income.

I actually thought they should have "scopes" for the offhand that has Mastery and attack speed % and or reload speed %.

Rather than Crystals, all matchlocks should just have +3 Attack speed on them or the hunters clothes should.  And the Hunter's clothes should have +Crit on them in addition to the current mastery/move speed they have.  

Having to run combat elixirs and simple cron instead of Life skilling draughts/food buffs is extremely silly.

Maybe they could just remove the +attack speed and +crit effecting hunting and speed up the base attack speed and increase the crit amount by 25% so it's the same as right now with both at +5.
