Just sayin'.  It's a top down isometric game, but does it look so, so good.  Action combat, equalized PvP arena, raids, tons of content, tons of classes / roles, gorgeous graphics, waifu's look like waifu's and not deranged contructs of a troubled 12 year old's nightmare (AHEM ESO AHEM) and a lot more...and on top of it all...no P2W.  Least as of right now (pay to progress faster, sure, but nothing compared to BDO).

LA is currently the #1 MMORPG in S. Korea right now being at the #2 spot of most played S.KR games as of this month.  BDO trailing at rank #23, and Elyon sitting there at rank #29 (kek at all the false hype).

PA, get ready.  Your cash cow will need some serious steroids if it plans on delivering meat to the table.  Lost Ark will be your biggest competitor once they release in the West.

Lost Ark, scheduled for release in 2021.  I will guess it will release in August.  Anyone else planning on playing?  LMK.  I got guides.

Lost ark is not a competitor to bdo... Its a boring themepark with a completly boring gameplay.

The same way of other mobile * mmorpg*.  Lost ark is a directly comparable to mobile game. pay to skip, extremly limited progression by day. and completly autistic super-megazor slow gameplay... go play the RU version. Make yourself an opinion instead of a stupid belief.

Well idk, I didn't saw much difference in Elyon compared to bdo, you can literately see many reused assets that are also exits/similar in bdo. It's a typhical Korean mass produced mmo, just like bdo is. Ultimately it all depeens on the amount of hype, and how P2W it will be.

But yeah, Elyon is a another (failed) game recycled and rebranded to sell as a "new" game. Clearly they only plan on short term cash grabbing.

And Lost ark isn't an mmorpg, it's like diablo.

From what I heard from a friend who lives in Seoul on assignment for work, Elyon is even more P2W/Expensive then BDO but its actually fun to play.  

Lost Ark - looks like a good game to play but i dont know about the long term fun, I would definitly try it out when it is released but also I am looking forward to New World.

The updated combat system worked out alot of kinks I am hearing, guildies on the testing said its getting way less buggy and content is starting to get thick.

BDO will have some tough competition by the end of this summer / early fall.

I hope PA does something to keep players on BDO. I would not like to go back to the days of Early 2019 when it was almost dead feeling.

Neither game is on my radar and they both look trashy af.

Looking forward to a lot of MMOs too, not only these.  New World, I'm kinda on the fence, but interested in seeing what Amazon pumps out.  The track record hasn't been too good so far.  But there's also Naraka (not really an MMO, but looks fun), Ashes of Creation (big question-mark, but I'm in Alpha 1 Phase 2), Corepunk (western version of LA), and some others, like Swords of Legends.

Thing about LA is that is is already established, and we know how good the game is, which is why I'm hyped.  #1 MMO in KR right now with lots of good press.  It's a themepark, so it will not replace BDO, it will offer an entirely different experience.  Combat looks siiick too, ofc, this is all but opinion.  Got an IRL friend playing RU and he loves it.

Rather not play on Russian server.  I'd rather just wait for NA release.  Been keeping up with LA for about 3 years now, and I think that's good enough, but we'll see how it is once NA/EU release.

From seeing gameplay and keeping up with developments, I have a huge feeling it will suit what I'm looking for out of it -> lore and story driven main questline, raids / dungeons, top-down isometric action combat, and PvP Battlegrounds (equalized arena PvP).  I like how the combat looks, as an ex-League of Legends player (still play for fun though).  It's like LoL and BDO had a baby and named it Lost Ark. 

I'm still going to "main" BDO, though.  I'm basically married to my Sorc <3

Too bad you think that, LA is the #1 MMO in KR right now.  And it's themepark-y, so you don't have to worry about getting PK'd by someone stronger or better at PvP than you :) :) ;)

If PA doesn't want to lose some players to another game, they need to deliver us something really good.

Does Diablo have group-raids, open world PvP zones, and PvP battlegrounds?

What PlasticDK means is, Lost Ark is an isometric game like diablo and a isometric game is not a replacement for bdo.

Designing the wheel again from scratch is the typical behavior of people like you who obviously never stepped foot into the professional world.

Or incompetent Windows designers who don't have a single clue about the concept of shared libraries, or about any efficiency whatsoever.

From what I have seen, Elyon is like a reskin of another MMORPG called "Tera"(released on EU at May 2012). I saw several animations from Elyon to be one and same with those of Tera. From youtube clips ofc.

Both games are from one and same company.
