1) Visibility: Even if you don't buy pets/butlers/maids, so many have been given out as attendance awards or for events, that we have an absurd amount of them. When I walk into any of my homes, a damn zoo explodes from the center of the floor. The number of maids/butlers can be controlled to a certain extent with the slider in options, but pets don't have this. It's either all or nothing, using the show/hide toggle in the residence ui.

I suggest removing the slider from options and adding a visibility toggle to both the pet and maid/butler ui instead. Adding an eye to the pet icons (just like the equipment window has for costumes) and a small column of toggles to the other, should keep it from cluttering these already small windows.

2) Maid/Butler Appearance: Allow us to customize them. Even if it's as simple as dye channels for their clothes, the mere fact that they would have different appearances would encourage people to buy more of them. I know plenty of people that don't buy them for their intended purpose while grinding, but to place them in their homes instead. Now imagine how many more would buy them if they were customizable!

2) Pet Furniture: It exists, but has no purpose, so there's little incentive to buy them. Not even those who stack items for ranked houses buy them, as they don't give enough points. Add an interaction to these that allows the visible pets in the home use them. By default, pets spawn in the middle of the room when you enter a residence (or on the player if you use the visibility toggle in the residence ui) and wander around from there. Interacting with a pet bed should summon the pet to it. It would be great if it ran over, but teleporting it inside is fine too—whatever makes it actually useful instead of a trash item nobody buys.

3) Pet Interactions: The buttons in the pet window that show the various actions they can perform are a slap in the face.  These are literally labeled as social actions, but unlike the player ones, we can't use them. Let us click these to interact with them! Why is it that we can pet horses but not pets!? Outside of their loot capabilities, I'm willing to bet a lot more people would buy pets if you could actually use these buttons.

4) Maid/Butler Interactions: It would be nice if we could interact with these as well. The options could be as simple as cook, clean, and idle. They wouldn't actually make anything as it would defeat the purpose of the lifeskill, but seeing them interact with a stove would still be pretty damn immersive. The other options would toggle between the wandering and sweeping animations that they already do.

This is just a pipe dream, but add the stay/follow function that pets have so that they could actually follow us around. To keep it from bloating the world, it could be limited to homes or safe zones, with a visibility toggle for those that didn't want to see them (just like pets...show mine, show others, hide all).

5) Horse Interactions: You can only feed them while mounted right now, but we should be able to do so while they're resting too. They already have two interactions but I would suggest giving them additional purpose. Communicate (f9) allows you to pet a horse and supposedly give it a temporary speed buff, but Give Mount Rest (f5) does nothing as they automatically rest when you dismount, resulting in the, "Already resting," notification. Communicate should have it follow you while walking/running and Give Mount Rest should do what it actually says, have it stop!

Everything suggested for horses already exists in some fashion, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement. Feeding them can use the sugar cube animation from the training minigame, just replacing it with a carrot. Following exists as well, because if you summon a horse but move before it gets to you, it ends up chasing you until you stop.

You actually can feed your horse while not on it, I do it all the time, just make sure you mouse move select the horse and use the carrot from the hotbar.

Or you can just use the "use item" menu from the horse to feed it.
