I created this just for the knowledge entry today.
This is very much a trainer item, for folks that enjoy the lifeskill/breeding/upgrading of horses.
I have zero interest in that lifeskill, and did the quest for royal ferns (capture wild horses-I hated every minute of it) and more materials (its not an easy item to create) just for the knowlege of manufacturing.
Got the knowledge, old moon censor, mythical censor.
Now that mythical censor will sit in my inventory forever.
I can sell it to a npc vender.
But I cannot sell it on marketplace and give some player a chance to make one of those T10 horses for me to buy in the future.
Why. Not.

T10s can't be sold anyways, so there's no chance of you ever buying one in the future unless they change it.
As to why the censer can't be sold on the marketplace? I presume it's because the royal ferns are a time gate to filter out the people who want the T10 but don't care enough to do the dailies/weeklies, which makes the horse more exclusive for dedicated horse trainers.

Every lifeskill does have something that can only be achieved by play level/skills/mastery/knowledge/achievements.
Very thoughtful answer about the time gate on with royal ferns (daillies/weekies) think you nailed it there.
T10 can't be sold on market at this time? Ah too bad, will just have to hope some day the game will allow that.
Til then i'll just thumbs up, well done! to horse trainers who achieve getting one and admire it.

the carrack was a similar thing, then all of a sudden they made it super easy to acquire and gave all the dedicated sailors the middle finger, if you think they value the time you invest in the game in any way, shape or form i am afraid you are mistaken.

I own a T10 and I don't really care if it can or can't be sold. It's in the nature of all progression games that what was once special and unique becomes easier to obtain over time.
I do also own a carrack and don't mind it becoming easier either. The challenge is to always have forward progression that keeps players interested with long term and short term goals.
