I read it but just becuse a game does not have a wroking pvp mechanics means it will die nor will it die when Crimson desert comes out with better pve. Seams you proboly missed it but Crimson will be more singel player focused with mutliplayer but proboly not in the same way as BDO. So people that still want the mmo aspcet will proboly still play BDO.  So not Crimson will not kill BDO. 

But that being said this it´s getting old rely old and belive me I played mmo for over 20 years and every damn mmo it´s the same shit people proclaim them self experts and gives their reason why a mmo will die I mean I seen this post for eve online for over 10 damn years and we are talking like every other month EVE is Dying or is Dead.

Yet the game is still alive and is soon celberating 17 damn years beeing online and as I stated before, eve has around 23-24k concurrent players  and BDO has at least 100k if not and no steam does not count what so ever and you know why becuse more pople use the offclient veion rather than steam.  Right now acroding to steam avrage amount of players the past 30 days is 4277 people  yet when you log in the game client tells you the current amount of people which is right now as I write this the number of people playing is 20,934  and acording to steam current players playing it now is 3746 which means 17 188 people are playing that are not playing it on steam.

So a note to any one that tries to use steam as proof that mmo is dying please just don´t you only look stupid becuse when it comes to mmos that has their own seprate client the steam numbers don´t mean jack shit it only means well less steam players play but mostly that there is still loads of people that play it on the mmo´s own client.  

Then another thing to note allot of us have play this mmo for while and we all would love to see changes to make the game much better to maybe balance the classes make pvp more fun and so on but we all know it´s pearl abyss we are talking about so the likely hod it will happen is slim or mostly not likely. But trying to pretdict the game will die this year is a bold predicition and is as likely as Pearl abyss will balance all the classes and not break it all with a new class. 


But yes the game will die like all mmo´s does but it will not suprise me it it lives another 5 years or more. As I also stated before I seen games with fall less players than BDO survive for years well eve online is a testament to this I mean 17 damn years and now pealr abyss own eve online even and has yet to kill a game with aroudn 4000 people on steam and 16-20k that does not use steam.

Then we have Dungeons and dragons online, Ever quest 1 and 2, Tera, heck even fucking arch age still around even if people hate that game to death, Star wars the old republic, Star trek online man I can give you a list of games that live for years on what I would call it fumes. 

But by a freak acident you could be right and it will die this year but then pearl abyss would need to do a major fuck up and lose almost all of it´s players.  

So no Pearl will not axe a game that still makes them load of cash. But they will not fix shit eather. 


So here is the tip of the day don´t enjoy it go find a mmo that brings you fun and enjoyment that´s the reason why we play games after all right ?


Im not trying to mean mean or such im just sick of all these damn this mmo is dying or will die. I mean I proboly seen over 500 0 of these thdreads over the past 20+ years it is starting to get rely fucking old. But well that´s people for you when they get frustarted they need to complain and went about it knowing nowthing will change. But I say instead of doing that go and play games that gives you enjoyment and your gaming life will be hell of allot better and let people keep playing BDO if the still find enjoyment in it while you don´t. 

But one key issues with your statement I need to say is. Without PVP does BDO have anything beside a single player envirnoment? 99% of grinding zones punish you for grinding it in a group, imperial crates turn in punishes you for logging in and trying to turn them in during peek hours of the game, gathering, cooking, fishing, bartaring, trading have zero element in which you can work with other players, and quests can not be cleared in groups. Really if you ask me BDO PVE is already nothing more than single player only content. The few piece of group orinated PVE content that is in BDO is outdated dead content that no one does and the devs haven't updated in years. So really if you turn off the ingame chat and only played BDO PVE content you will not encounter a single time were you're forced or even rewarded for doing content with another player. So Why would Crimson Desert's more single player PVE content not be what BDO's PVE content is already?

Also is BDO really making PA a lot of money? If I had to guess you like many other players in BDO only buy a value pack and that it (I know many players that doesn't even do that.) that 10-15 dollars each month per player which can be a lot, but a single whale has been know to invest 1-10k dollars a month on this game upgrading their gear. If I had to guess whales make up more than 50% of PA's income on this game, but want to know the current state of that income as of now? Well it simple whales are now sitting at BIS gear at full PEN C20. So why would a whale keep investing 1-10k dollars a month on the game when they have everything in the game that can be bought? Basically what it boil down to is BDO's #1 source of income has run dry. An if you knew PA background at all you'd know their last game was quickly abandoned once profit margins started to decline. PA doesn't care about active player #s they only care about monthly income or at-least that what they've shown with their last game.

As it also stand right now PA has 3 MMORPGs underdevelopment 1 is planned to release by the end of this year. An last year they bought out CCP the makers of Eve Online a game that generates more players and income than BDO. I simple can't see a future in which PA even tries to keep BDO alive. It is currently their 4th source of income right now but also their most expensive to maintan and currently if my theory is correct the only one with dropping profit margins. If PA didn't already own multiple sources of income an weren't in the process of developing 3 brand new MMORPGs than I could see this game surviving. But with the current state of this game and current plans PA has I can't see any future were they devote anytime in improving this game. As it is PA plan for this year is to release as many new classes as they can not for the sake of improving the game, but because BDO's largest source of income now that the whales stopped swipping is selling character bound items. Best way to do that is too encourage players to make new characters thus a brand new class for each new season.

Oh and side note now the BDO self published there no one to stop PA if they decided to shut down the game's servers permanently tomorrow. Since they now own the server rights to the game. Not saying they will but you know food for thought for a possible reason to why PA actually wanted to start self publishing every version of BDO.

What this game hasn't died yet?  I was told it would die by summer 2018, then winter 2019, followed by summer 2019, follwed by pretty much every 3-6 months when X comes out or Y comes out.

Doesn't look dead yet, but hey maybe some day it'll die.

The start of this thread is built on heresay, which sets the faulty foundation on the rest of your post, just like the posts made by you and the very same few 1-2 supporters in this thread in the wizard forum.

The game isnt going to die in a year as you claim, how can you possibly expect to be taken seriously, even your replies to good smileybones proves that this is a troll post. Witchards are popular due to their support and ranged aoe capabilities, paired together then yes they are stronk. I wouldnt mind seeing a nerf in amount of targets they can attack, or lowering the dmg further the more targets they hit. You want the class to be nerfed and state obvious effects all other classes have in some form that witchards dont, yet in all other aspects as a whole, this class isnt what you make it to be.

If only the witchzard was a top pve grinder like succ striker, could grab other classes like x, and so on. Maybe itll change in a year.

An in the end your logic is just wrong anyway. Kuno one worst grinding classes in this game only class that worse at grinding is tamer, she also one of the worst classes for any form of group PVP, and she only average in 1v1, but you demand all her CCs be removed, damage be cut in half, and SA be gutted into an unplayable state why exactly? Oh I know cause your bias.
