The map wont transfer you to port ratt anymore instead it now teleports you to slippery scallywag’s den. Please fix this. The Den is not even a town...
And while we are at it can you guys please buff the Archaeologist's Map. Its suppose to be a cool unique item. Please lower its cooldown by alot. Like once every hour instead of 6 hours.

i agree with this 100%. the den is not a town, it looks more of a node. why would you put slippery scallywags den in the mapping selection when the "nearest town" takes you to the same place anyway? it doesn't make sense.

Seconded. Seems like ALL of the ocean (OE, OE Coast, Ross, lower, middle and upper Margoria) are ALL connected to the Den, which makes no sense because Port Ratt, having access to the warehouse, clearly was meant to be used as the ocean hub, and the Den isn't even a town.
I've yet to test all the margoria locations (map cooldown and update has only been out for 12hrs), but so far, as a sailies host and as a sailor that regularly maps to Port Ratt (due to its warehouse access/storage), I disagree with this choice.

I was at work today so couldn't ( and gladly ) rush out & do Corsair Awakening quests. As much as i was looking forward to having Corsair as a fun alt character and as much as I love Otters, I will never go to this island nor awaken my Corsair sadly. I feel as if I want to be careful & take a wide berth around it also so I don't accidentally discover it.
If this was an intended mechanic it makes no sense. I can see maybe having you rez there if you die east of Oquilla's Eye, but everywhere in the sea?, it must be an error that I hope they fix soon.
I fish regularly at OE & map to Ratt in the mornings. I will not give this up to awaken a new class & get some knowledge of the island. Sorry for those of you that did it without knowing & have it unlocked.

If you forget to tick off "Don't board other player ships" and get kidnapped, you're pretty much screwed then? lol, big oopsie. I'll make sure to be extra attentive with ticking that box. Actually, that box should be automatically ticked, it's easy to forget.

It's obvious that BDO has only 3 features so it's easy to quality check them all at every patch.
