Wouldn't it be lovely?

Horses are great and all, and I'd definitely want to be able to Fast Travel WITH my mount, but it can take 20 minutes or more for me to travel between areas of interest.  Those areas of interest being in accordance with how I play the game of course.  Be that as it may, I find the long travel times to typically result in my loss of interest in the game or I forget that I've minimized it and was even playing.

I just recently returned to the game after a break and I'm quickly losing patience.  I know the Complaint Box has the bottom cut out and hovers over the trash bin so, I'll leave this brief.

I've sang praises for BDO. I've given harsh critiques.  I enjoy PLAYING the game, not 20+ minute travel times in between the fun stuff.  Would a Fast Travel Network between every major town break the game?  Either disable during big PvP stuff or, include the portals or fast travel devices in the big PvP stuff on those servers. Make it a game mechanic during big PvP battles where the Guild controlling the portal can use its functions. Something like that. Or not and leave them disabled during the battles. Whatever.

Maybe this has been addressed and the Devs have given a logical, rational and reasonable explaination as to why this mechanic is not in a high fantasy world full of magic and wonder... Not to mention an iframing Sorc who can teleport short distances. And the Sage.  Do Witchards count?  Anyway, seems like with those powers combined, a stable portal or waystone could be erected in major towns, but i digress...

Trust me, I'd rather be playing the game right now instead of writing in the forums but alas, I'm traveling in game for the next 15 minutes or so.
