One of the original purpose for the reboot was to give to the older the lore/utility skill the newer have.
All new have some kind of utility, lore based, skill: from running faster in the desert, to better swimming, free access to Aakman/Hystria, .... None of the older have an equivalent to those.
they shouldnt have silly sidetracking taks before they finish balancing pvp, ngl.
The original intention of the rework was to also give classes utility passives, but that somehow got mixed up and they ended up messing with combat passives instead.
They did not forget it, they just run out of budget after warrior and striker reworks, and rushed the rest, skiping stuff like these or actuall balancing....

How do they run out of budget for 2 high school interns maintaining the entire game? /s
Joking aside, I still don't understand how the Shai passives are suppoesd to be anything worthwile. It's more of a convenience thing but leveling up alchemy for example takes just a couple of minutes to reach pro. I'm not sure how that's a benefit. Combat XP + 300% from gathering doesn't really help since you rocket your way up to level 60 in like 3hrs, and then it's perpetually slower at every level after making gathering XP worthless to your character. 300% doesn't even give you 0.000001% XP at every craft or successful gathering attempt.
It's a shame they got canned because I was excited the most about these when I heard about the reworks.
Well to be fair it was stupid to begin with. If anything they should delete those passives from other classes aswell.
You should pick the class you like, and should not be forced to play a certain class cause it have few more mastery or similar BS.
