This would be The Next Great Step. "Great Shield" like Nova Main hand with "Great Spear" Larger than Maehwa and Musa Naginata and Spears. Thoughts? Their Great Shield and Great Spear need to be very large in comparison to the Charactor Model to have a sense for Great Protector/Dragon Slayer. Now Combine that with Mobility... Fearsome in my opinion.
Wouldnt that just be a Valk? Big shield and a poking weapon, except this one is thinner

valkyrie doesnt have pole weapon
but a very ugly lance
in both picture they handle their weapon at middle
valkyrie handle her ugly lance by the grip

Althought Spearing is Most effective attack it not the Only option of attack especially paired with a Shield. The Spear Type can also be a Cross Spear which would introduce other utilities in combat. (hooking, Reaping and Slashing). Her Movement can Borrow From the Succession. The Iframe slide and the Boasting thrust Movement Feel New and edgy( no Windup). Would love to See that explored with this New Class' Awakening. ( The Timing spacebar Tech has a nice Touch to it.)

When discussing Drakania:
We're still speculating if it will be a polymorph or another weapon.
Someone joked about the half-dragon shape, look up "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" and "Dragonmaid Yu-Gi-Oh" cards, collect as a maid and fight as a monster, I actually think it's a funny idea.
There is the "Venecil Dress" outfit for female characters, whoops laughs.
It just wasn't funny anymore when someone said "there is also the idea of the dragon knight in 2 forms for another game, a trailer has just been released for the addon".
REALLY NOW? Everquest Next came up with the idea of playable dragons, that game got canceled and now there are multiple games coming with playable dragons?
Was this triggered by Warhammer Total War 3, were the Cathay dragons that popular?

After the level 56 awakening quest, I don't want big spoilers here, I'm kind of expecting a half-dragon form. If they were that bad at selling outfits, let them sell a Godzilla outfit for dragon form.
Everything about this level 56 Awakening quest sounded like "We want to know what you really looked like and what you are".
I don't want a heavy crossbow, I don't want a halberd, I don't want a dragon spear, I don't want fist weapons, I don't want a heavy whip.
A transformation would be something new.
-Shyvana from League of Legends.
-Ryoho from Bloody Roar 4.
-Divinity 2 Ego Draconis.
If not something like that then I'll delete the game again, my expectation after the quest is high.

That's roughly how I imagine it when the shifter uses its shifting feature in D&D.
Unfortunately, it's not quite as spectacular, even if it looks like beating fun.
