I started the Eternal Winter main questline today on my main character. I stopped in the middle to do other stuff. After reset, I wanted to do my daily quests routine and for each quest a message appears saying I cannot do them as Eternal Mountain questline is ongoing. I may understand other main questlines to be locked, but not a daily quest in Balenos...

It seems it affects only daily quests. Repetable ones are OK: E.g. at Velia, Abelin ones or Loggia farm ones do not work, but Crio ones (it is repetable quests with a 22h cooldown, not a daily) or Dalishain ones (Lightstone exchange/purification) work.

Please correct that...

Edit: daily quests of Eternal Mountain Region seem to work. So at least Balenos dailies do not work. I haven't tried other regions.

I am having the same problem. In my case, I cannot take any quest in the old regions anymore except for event quests. I can only assume it is some kind of mistake that happened, otherwise they would surely have warned everyone in advance.

This basically means that most Rulupee/ Knowledge quests become inaccessible.

I will write a ticket on this and see what happens.

I've confirmed the same issue on Global Labs. With the Mountain of Eternal Winter questline active but unfinished, I was locked out of all Behr sidequests & dailies with a message that the Mountain questline was ongoing.

Yeah I made a post about this before and just had to complete the Winter questline. It sucked lol.

I'm pretty sure there's a notification when you start this questline that you won't be able to accept other quests, which is why I haven't started it yet. Not sure why this is, seems very impractical, given the questline is 140 quests long or so.

Same problem here. Don't remember seeing any warning about it. It honestly really made me lost so much interest in the game. I might do the questline at some point but I'm out for now
