I'm always hunting at Narcion. The event made me more excited. As of yet, ZERO pity pieces. I've levelled from Master 18 - 20 during the event. I've bagged a ton of <Wild> mobs. Enough to at least have nabbed ONE pity piece...

Methinks the event is a meme at this point. Seriously!?! No pity piece AT ALL butchering in Narcion since event start.

Is the kool-aide lumpy or is it just me? Is anyone getting anything from Butchering during the event?  Must I go Tan chickens???

When this event was for the first time, for 3 days I didn't get a single pity piece. So this is a waste of time, especially as the average ratio is 1 pity piece per 1000 mobs (yes, 500-600 energy and 0 pity piece is a standard to me).

I have the opposite experience. Sitting on 12 clarvioance with under 48 hours grinding grass rhino for exp.

Have to agree, hunting has been much more helpful for me when I went for the mana pot compared to skinning chickens. Same experience also with a couple other people I have talked to. But in the end its always RNG so its hard to make a rule out of personal experience

Finally got my first proc yesterday afternoon.  Thank gawd for Hedgehogs!!! I now have 3x over the course of the event. I've hit Master 21. When the event started, I was Master 18.  I hunt mainly Lions with a sprinkle of Rhinos in Narcion. Between Master 10 - 15, it would take approximately 200-250 Rhinos to advance a level. That amount increases with each level attained mind you so, from Master 18 - 21, having not done a rigorous count, I'd say between 250 -315 Rhinos is a fair guess to advance a level, with a slight increase as we approach Guru at each level. Maybe even a significant one... Again, the last time I really observed was around Master 10 - 15.

Maybe my luck will change. I really can't complain though. I got 3 pp's in a week just a short time ago. Two to finish up the HP pot and the first pp of the MP pot.  RNG giveth on days and withholds on others. Que sera...

If increased mastery helps with the hunting drops, then hopefully the 100% life XP event will help increase the drops you are getting.

When they changed gathering clothes to have DP, I stacked mastery on my main and got 7 pieces in one hour while skinning birds, which was way higher than I'd ever gotten before while doing the weekly.

I've gotten like 5 pity pieces and a guildie got a triple Ancient Valtarra's Clairvoyance drop hunting in Narcion.  RNG is rude...

Grass rhino have higher drop rates for everything compared to the rest. Give it a try.
