Please no sailing minigames..

yes to all. espcially the guild and sailing / bartering stuff.

Have some friends playing for years. asked them how long it took to build their ships, what they make on bartering now and did the math. The time, efford and lost money ( as u trade parrt of your barter items for ship gear) was simply not worth it at all to get me excited to start building my 1st ship.  Will just hitch a ride with my friends to gather mats and sailing exp.

bugs i have noticed on their ships:
- After Vell passengers on their ship become invisible to the ships captain
- when tp to their ships using RMB on the ship icon they get stuck in mid air for a few sec before being dropped down
- the waves / current system seems to be still active despite the icon being gone and PA saying it was removed, last trip we did felt like wading through a swamp
- Sea mobs not taking any damage when shooting them, both from range and point blank shots

Issues that need fixing :
- increase the LT as the barters per NPC increased but not the amount a ship can carry
- increase ships rations as the crews expanded
- add more mobs to the ocean, huge parts are nothing more than empty expanses of water
- increase the rate sailor earn xp at, its slows down a lot around level 7
- increase the rate at which they earn their stats, saw friends training 30+ sailors and all turned out shit.  so much wasted time
- Increase the rate at which crow coins can be earned, seem my buds rolling 10- 17- 9 crow coins at hakoven in that order when refreshing
- fix the desync issue were if ppl move around on your ship, especially during breezy sails that u get yeeted off.

Personally, I dislike so much when I get into "submarine" mode because waves, and I can't repair my ship because it's less than 10sec to be between swimming in the water and desperately spam repair button in hope to get 1 repair done...
Just make repair be 5 sec instead 10sec finally :x

In the case of horses and training:

- they could allow us to imperial trade t9 horses that don't sell on market, for imperial delivery money + certain amount of mythical feathers and/or fern roots
- they could improve Laila's Petal/Fairy Wings/Mythical Feather drop greatly from Lakiaros, put a plot-twist on it: not only you need to clean your Lakiaro game as good as possible, but you need to have higher level of training/gathering to improve possible t10-friendly drops
- make horse racing great again, get in weekly rewards for t10 and tradable tokens from winning to trade for t10 and other horse related things (food, elixirs, gear, buffs)
- get mythical feathers as reward drop into Narc's scrolls (the ones created from manshaum voodoo dolls)

And for overall life skilling: LIFE SKILL CHURCH BUFF WHEN? xD

I know there's a lot of stuff here, but please at least look at and discuss the sailing-related points here, PA! Lots of good ideas along with things that really need to be fixed/addressed.

just want to put a comment to try and help the traction of all these QoL endeavors! love the ideas, and especially the HOUSING QoL which is very much needed!!!! I support o7

Bartering indeed demands a significant investment of time. Getting started and acquiring your Carrack can be quite the endeavor.

Even after obtaining it, the process of completing all the resets can consume around 3 to 4 hours, with relatively minimal silver gains. It's a labor-intensive activity for sure.

To all those considering delving into bartering, my advice: don't. Unless there are significant changes that boost its profitability to at least 1 billion silver per hour, it's simply not worth the effort. Even with active bartering, you'll struggle to make more than approximately 550 million per hour, which is woefully inadequate. Opt for any other profession instead. A solid cooking setup, for instance, can easily yield between 700 million to 1 billion silver per hour.
