You know, as the one super special class that cannot, by design intention, participate in much of the content of this game. It sure would be fuckin cool to be able to tag all the real classes and see what we like and what works without needing an awakening weapon exchange coupon each time. At least I will probably have a lot of awak weapon exchange coupons in 3 years when I finally get a second garmoth heart for the other awakening weapon.

When you designed Shai, you did try a new approach and focused on musical instruments, life skills, healing abilities, support role, unique race/design, alpaca, dancing, etc. etc. etc.

All of these unique features for the class were a great addition to the game, however, we are now at a point where Shai is the only class that has unfair treatment when it comes to tagging and weapons. Shai is a real class, and a popular class. She is not just a life skiller and music player.

I completely understand that shai is currently in a good state for PVE and does not need the monster damage bonuses at the moment. But please introduce a Blackstar Sol that increases Talent % instead, or add monster damage and rebalance. Allow us to caphras our Artina Sol for additional AP and accuracy, so that it can work as an alternative to Dandelion. This way we can finally tag our weapons instead of having to jump through ridiculous hoops that should not exist.

Why do Shai players need a 3rd Garmoth's Heart if we want to tag a 2nd class?

Why do Shai players have to invest in a 2nd awakening weapon for tagging a 2nd class?

Why can't Shai upgrade their Artina Sol at Jetina?

Why can't Shai buy/sell their Artina Sol?

Why can't Shai caphras their Artina Sol for higher AP brackets and accuracy?

If the only answer you have is that it makes the class "unique" then you are not listening. This is not a "unique design" that makes Shai special. This is not fun. All I can do is beg you to reconsider instead of repeating this same excuse when the whole community is saying it is wrong and unfair.

Please PA give us fair treatment for Shai.

I appreciate Shai for what she is but she can be so much more with a bit of a push. Artina Sol needs to be treated equally. At this point with 30 character slots and 26 available classes, 27 if you count the unreleased "goku" class with no plans on expanding for character slots due to a technical limitation. This means that it's unlikely for us to see more classes for the forseeable future and Shai is the only one that remains different.

The talent weapon was a mistake and we would really look up to you for admitting this mistake. This is what we do in the west, we admire people and companies that admit to their mistakes and correct it. I don't know how it's done in Korea but it would mean a lot to us if you did. Please reconsider your stance on the talent weapon, we need it. Many of us main shai as our combat class of choice.

We can't participate in the Marni's event any time that it comes to pass. It's terrible and I have so many thousands of fuel by now probably. I never tagged because I simply can't by design.

I don't know. Black Desert devs seem anything but not reasonable regarding this, that i dont know if we can hope this situation to ever change. Thats how they preffer to treat their playerbase. They are too proud and stubborn to listen.

I'd like to point at the fact that some players ask for "lifeskill servers" or "lifeskill tree of competences" or "lifeskill characters". They wouldn't if there was already a lifeskill character.

Shaï is definitely not a lifeskill character. It's a character like all the others, she can go in lategame zones like all the others and she can do lifeskills too, like all the others.

Giving a different gameplay (group buffs, teamplay) is a great thing, in my opinion and I think in the opinion of many of us. This game might be a solo game but it is nice to propose some group content sometimes. So we have the choice to play one way or another, solo or group.

Now, you say you want to make it a special character, dedicated to music and lifeskills.

Then... I'm sorry but I don't understand: why doesn't she have a competence tree for lifeskills?

Her skills are made for battle. Despite what you said. She's made for battle, definitely! Or you shouldn't have allowed her to wear weapons from day one so she would craft potions and crystals all day. But then, her skills trees would have been different.

You managed it badly - sorry - since you made her for battle.

Since is doesn't please your players (192 upvotes, 6 downvotes!), clearly, wouldn't you adapt her?

I still think they can turn this character development around and give shai a proper theme for a combat awakening weapon.

The "Artina Sol" could be a magically enhanced weapon, instead of being this ambiguous thing.

I always imagine shai having the same theme as all the other classes, whereas she has succession and awakening.

Succession being the florang focus.

And Awakening being the magically enhanced weapon focus. The Sol could be a three section staff, or a whip, or pair of tonfa, a pair of sai...  or something.
