The entrance door creaked open. The air was stale and oppressive. The sensation of being watched was omnipresent.

The guardian of the house was awaiting her, praising her for her courage, but also taunting her with "Ah, another one wishing to save the fools, you will join them soon enough".

The Shai was not afraid, yet she was nervous as she knew how dangerous it was. It was the first time she'd encounter such formidable foes.

Grasping her trusted florang, the weapon that she went on many missions with, she was ready to give her all once again, no matter what.
