Re-add the method from global labs where we could stack materials up to 100% success rate for t10

Translation:

  • Dreaming materials can be obtained by collecting and processing a certain number of items obtained when delivering horses using Imperial Delivery. You can select the amount of material to use when attempting a dream, and the higher the amount consumed, the higher the chance of dreaming success up to 100%.


Realistically, this should take up to a year or so of mats saved up, so it's not necessarily easy either. This is for the gurus who are at 70+ fails for the past 1 year and 11 months (and yes, there are.)

"They want to keep it rare" 
It's no longer rare large in part due to the fact that non-horse trainers are easily low tapping it. Keeping it rare would mean only horse trainers could attempt, but I digress. The amount of gurus on any given server is low, and has little reward.

"Why guru?"
Guru takes, with no buffs, 45,000+ horse captures, or, 15,300 hours (right under 2 years)

If you hated capturing one horse for the magnus questline, think about your local guru and the hours we've put into it for nothing. This isn't "high level trainers content" as it was told, and if it was meant to be there would've been better implementation.

Yeah at this point and stage, Many people have T10 by now, So I think it's fair to let people who are still struggling to get one. More QoL changes is more than welcomed cause at the end of the day it is still RNG. It's been a year or even 2 now. With T10's being out in general. They're no longer 'that' rare. 

It's also just a reskin so I don't think people should be failing more than 30 times.

As someone who will never be Guru Training and never benefit from this system I think that this is a great idea. It is difficult for me to imagine how they talked themselves out of implementing this.

"It keeps T10s rare" is an idiotic rationalization if thats what they actually thought. Stacking T10 mats does not increase their effectiveness. Each T10 attempt worth of mats still only adds a 3% chance. On average, every 33.3 attempts worth of mats will produce a T10 into the game. This system would only allow Guru Trainers to bypass the terrible rng mechanic and have more influence in who gets that T10(themselves, if theyre willing to save materials)

The only reason that this would cause T10s to be less rare is because more people would be inspired to level Training to Guru and actually make the effort to acquire a T10 since they have the option of not being gated forever behind bad luck.

...and thats a good thing. You would be making a lifeskill and bdo content that most people ignore more attractive, and encourage more interaction with systems that already exist. 👍

I have no issue with Kurosity's solution. A year's worth of effort in any game should show results as long as the attempt is not gated by skill but rather an ample amount of effort and dedication. If it were a skill or talent-based challenge, the goal would be to achieve the desired performance and be rewarded quickly or slowly, depending on the learning curve. There is no challenge or performance requirement for T10 horse creation; therefore, the suggestion is more than acceptable. The integrity of the effort is maintained without detracting from either those who desire to play the chances or those who wish to ensure certainty at the cost of a lengthy effort.

Here's hoping, I guess.

I just went and sold my DHs last time, after failing several attempts, as I consider it to be a bit insulting - the fact that both T9 and T10 success rates are 100% independent of your Training mastery.

Struggle hard to hit those high skills only to have the trophies available for everyone to try their luck at, even if they never ever used a rope.

My peg has 171 speed why would I make t10 that can float longer and has diff colors but risc the speed?

so you think, me saying making a 3% horse with crazy time gate and the rely on luck to roll good stuff is not valuable info?
