A 30 day event with bonsus if you are part of medium or large guild was launched today. Basically : small guilds are now screwed. Oh and btw let's change the defintion of small guild and make it 30 members so they are screwed even more.
I can understand thatn instead of developping new guild tools that are actually in ruins, it is more economical concentrating all players in bunchs of large guilds, however disadvantinging small guilds in this way means that new players will have no choice but to become part of larger guilds.
This game is becoming every day more of a monoply of older players to the expense of newcomers.
small guilds should not exist in a game like this, it is bad enough in wow and ffxiv where everyone thinks they need their own guild
From where I stand, I'd say that having large guilds only makes no point in having guilds at all. If you are offering the possibility of creating guilds of a certain size then you should also let the players to freely choose between the size of guild they see fit for theur gamestyle.
In any way, using rewards to sneakily augment guilds size is not exactly fair to the mass of players that decide to play this game in human-size formations. Frankly being in a guild of 100 players or being without a guild in a server of 1000 players, it makes absolutely no difference if you are not a PvP player.
This has been the same for all guild bonuses previously. Always only available to Medium and above guilds, nothing new here.
Think of it as a reward for the time you spent recruiting.

So I understand that you are an old player. But that doesn't change the monopoly effect that these bonuses have. They last for months drain players from smaller guild in favor of medium large.
If it was the same before you should have said something perhaps ?

yah! Only that is not! Quite the opposite actually: it destroys the efforts provided in the last months. But silly me! I should have started with 500 members, that would have solved the problem.

Exactly ^
Idk, its always been like this.
With the first event we were small too but we realised pretty fast we needed members so yea...
We were medium before the event ended ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You just need members, you don't need to like them. They don't even have to be active to count...
Only "friend only" & "family" guilds have this issue. Stop being so picky and just get ppl lol :D

Just a heads up, quality beats out quantity when it comes to guild members. Guilds are not supposed to merely be a combination of fools.
People need to get perspective. Actually this event offers guilds an excellent opportunity to grow since guildless players have an extra incentive to join one. Of course the purpose of the event isn't "killing small guilds", the purpose is helping them to grow.
