One of the main problems this game always had is the ever inflating economy and how devs have never ever done anything to "fix" it somehow. This is a big issue in any MMO since a bad economy is what ends up truly killing a MMO or preventing new players to join , (They come in fresh new, see prices in billions and get scared).

This suggestion isn't going to fix that, but I think it's needed to at least make the problem less visible and maybe start from there and try to fix it somehow because honestly, it worries me that patch after patch I don't see them addressing the HUGE economy issues this game has.

I propose squishing the money values; this wouldn't have any impact on current earnings, no worries, it's only a visual: Make 100 Silver coins be 1 Gold coin and make 100 Gold coins be 1 Platinum coin, maybe even switch Silver to copper to make it even more effective, something like this:

- 100 Copper coins > 1 Silver Coin

- 100 Silver coins > 1 Gold Coin

- 100 Gold coins > 1 Platinum Coin

This is of course just a suggestion and needs some tweaking, let me know what you think about it.  

It's a recipe for a catastrophe. It will only deepen the problems you described. Definetly a big NO for me.

Where do you see inflation? Buying almost best items in game requires .... 20 years of grinding. 

This is the main reason why 99% of new players disappear after the first month (the rest is open toxic pvp and no fast travel).

PA still trying to solve all the problems of this game by raising prices, making it even worse.

Changing the currency won't change the prices on the MP. It's going to be much work for... No results or an even bigger inflation.

If new players are starting on seasons, they can get an easy Naru->Tuvala. Low AP spots under 140AP aren't that hard. And getting money on the low AP zones in Valencia is easy. A reasonable amount for such a low AP bracket. I am not involving any giveaways for starters.

If new players are starting on the normal servers, they can get an easy Naru->Narchilian(one time only). They'll have enough AP for the already mentioned places. Again I am not counting any giveaways.

Daily silver gain is also a reasonable amount. Green gear is very cheap, compared to today's easy incomes. At least a boss DUO gear can be bought in... +/- 5 days, if one grinds for at least an hour(not 24/7).

I just don't see the interest of it.

It's not really inflation.  Well, it is, in some areas that they forget to update.  Gold Bar 1G rewards are now pointless.

Everything costs a crud-ton more, but trash loot generates a lot more silver too.

So, it still takes hard work to get buy good gear, despite the fact that silver is easier to get.

I'd prefer deflation.  Lower the price of everything, and lower the amount you get from trash.  Simplifies things, BUT it just takes tons of adjusting, which no one will appreciate.  So, like reality, we just have to get used to it and soldier on.

i guess Silenko mean that a Money Squish would be clearer. I hear from a lot of new player that they have problems to "read" how much money they have. They are not used to this high numbers that break there Imagination. If this help new player and others to manage there money, then why not? Squish the money numbers.

They can add or remove zeroes and the grind will still be just as bad.
