Hate to burst your bubble, but Port Ratt sucks. It doesn't fit the harbor of a kingdom, it's a shanty dock lol.

Thank you for making this thread OP.  I totally agree.  Port Ratt is such a wonderful, quaint little area.  Finally reaching this mythical place after sailing across the dangerous ocean was a warm and wonderful memory for me.  The little quest where you are introduced to the people and save the kite is so sweet.  I don't want to see that area destroyed or removed, even if the characters would just be relocated to the new city.  It's like a little secret home away from home that not every adventurer has seen, but that makes it all the more special to those who have.

Nicely put!  It's the TINY details that make anything beautiful, especially art.  It's something I cherish about this game.  The more they simplify things and murder the art and realism of this game for convenience, and following the modern business ethos of gettting more from less, the less amazing this game will become.

Best thing to do would be to relocate one of the port, To be honest if nampo harbor is put somewhere nearby it could work well if the settings, you'd have what appear to be the capital with it's harbor nearby 

When they extended Velia's harbour they did something similar. Well, kinda. Still left the poor giant to repair the storage (for how many more years, I wonder?), but they move most of the personnel to the new dock. They could do something similar with Port Ratt as well. Leave the buildings (maybe give'em a tarnished look, to fit the narrative), open the inn in Port Ratt and make it a place for sailors and bar fights (Witcher-style brawls when, btw?) and maybe keep the love interest there too. Haul the rest to the new (probably rushed, like most of the new content seems to be) port.

Reactionary ridiculousness.  You can still play in the status quo all you want.  Oh no someone else is getting something I don't like that only encompasses a tiny portion of the game... I must rage and try to deny them that. 

40 other posters out of how many that play the game and haven't even bothered to comment.  Once again a ridiculous vocal minority that thinks itself more important than it is. 

Please don't remove iconic parts of your game PA :( It will be so sad to see them go.
