Lots of players have spent thousands of hours for their lvl 56/57/58/59/60/61 etc...
Today you up lvl 60 in 20 minutes... did someone cry about it?
No, we're happy to not do so many hours on our alts..
It's the same for sailing even if I don't know anyone stupid enough to go and waste time doing afk which doesn't bring in anything..

well it the normal in todays world done a lots of hours doing thing then they will always make it easyer after time

The decision to only let people get sailing xp while they sailed the ocean was asinine to begin with, and the amount you gained while out there was next to nothing, making sailies the only reasonable way to get sailing xp, which you need to do every day for 11 years to reach guru 50. ELEVEN YEARS. And that is down from 108 years. Absolutely dismal.
It was high time they introduced, so instead of doing nothing out there for no money in order to raise an absolute nothingburger of a lifeskill, you can earn some xp for said nothingburger of a lifeskill while doing another activity that gives you some money.

Bruh, they tryna make the barrier to entry for sailing easier on people so that they dont quit or never try sailing and you don't want that? What kind of selfish attitude is that?

my mans angry about people being able to get professional 1 sailing from skilled 1 in 2 years autopathing in shallow waters with these exp rates

REMOVE AUTOPATH SAILING EXPLOIT BEFORE UPDATE
Sailing EXP when sailing in shallow waters
- Sailing EXP has been changed to be obtained even when sailing in non-ocean areas.
- In this case, you will gain sailing experience equal to about 25% of the amount of experience gain in the ocean.
Many Sailing ADVENTURERS have spent uncountless hours leveling thier Sailing EXP in The Great Ocean without the aid of autopath.
Are we now going to allow Sailing by AFK Autopath in non-ocean areas to gain (Exploit) Sailing EXP twenty-four hours a day seven days week?
What next all non-ocean areas to be safe zones, ships AFK sailing back and forth like AFK Horses in Major Cities?
Soon we will be able to AFK Autopath for eight hours and Gain Double the Sailing EXP we get from spending one hour Unable to AFK or Autopath in the Great Ocean.
Should Horse Training EXP be made the as this new rule for example "you will gain training/mount experience equal to about 25% of the amount of experience gain in combat zones"?
Get over yourself.

Sailing is mostly dead and few people even venture out at sea. I'm certain they are doing this to encourage players to play more. However, I think that getting XP at sea is still problematic but at least it will permit more players to earn the minimum level to shoot cannons and such without having to spend a considerable amount of time.
As it has been mentioned before in this thread, it would take you 11 years to reach Guru50 by completing sailies and if that's true then that's a bit ridiculous since BDO will most likely not be a thing by then. This game was very toxic and has recently calmed down. I think that it's important to stop behaving so toxic and hostile against players that would like to enjoy the game for what it is. People getting a slight boost in XP isn't going to make your life worse. Trust me, I played since the open beta and as a reminder, level 54 or so was considered soft-cap for a while until they raised it. They might raise the level cap one day again, and again, and again... That is life.
You shouldn't try to engage or promote this type of behavior. It's fine to enjoy a contest between players but killing people who are AFK is obnoxious and rude. This is why people want a PvE only server or other related suggestions, because people like you who want to see others feel like crap. Please stop that.
