All Succession classes currently;
1. More damage, protections and CC
2. Lower cooldowns
3. Easier access to Abyss/Skill enhancements/Absolute skills (Striker absolutes are why he is so strong in succession vs; Mystic)
Keep in mind all Awakening classes;
1. Mandatory need for certain core skills so they can be "moderately" protected (both PvE and PvP)
2. Many core/filler skills are unprotected and don't really offer anything to the kits.. even if they become protected
3. Most T3 addons (+30% crit rate / 30 monster damage etc) - have extremely high cooldowns... compare this to Succession Striker with his cast while on cooldown skill...
Many classes are weak in awakening and even "group" PvP
Witch/Wizard, known to be extremely immobile. Witch needs to core one of her lightning skills to even get a FRONTAL GUARD that FLOATS. While many succession classes have a 3 second cooldown frontal + KNOCKDOWN (longest CC in the game) with downsmash smacked in there randomly.
The reason Musa is available in awakening... plenty of protected movement and damage.
Certain "fast" classes, they also have to use like 3-5 movement skills... many with frontals or straight up unprotected... meaning ranged/caster classes will always be superior to melee.
Buffed Filler skills
Even Nova Awakening would be interesting with these changes, since her entire combo.. is no combo with very awkward + high APM requirements to play. (She is in the meta with Striker/Zerk but is very clunky to play as).
If you look down to the lower tiers of Awakening classes, you will see plenty of them are tied around using 2-3 "big" skills, then they just goof around.
Also lowkey one of the reasonings certain classes are just unplayable in group/pvp content; you have no time to "combo" in group fights... so having less damage and protections on your combos is even worse (if you manage to survive in Super Armor while being nuked by the full platoons of succession witch/wiz/zerk/rangers).
Example since I enjoy Awakening Striker...
After skull crusher and battle cry chain, I have 2-3 seconds where I do low damage.
With reworks; I would be able to use Endless destruction (currently unprotected.. does little damage) then flow straight back into skull crusher / battlecry chain again.
I would also be able to use Ultimate Crush to DP debuff monsters without worrying about getting knocked down (PVE and PVP).
