I don't want to complain about free stuff, but I was dissapointed to find out that doing the quest, or enhancing the fox to a certain point will not get you a pet, and it remains just an inventory icon to trade for other things. It would be nice for a new reward to be a fox pet based on the icon with multiple tails as one of the final rewards, maybe add a 9th tail, and when you make it to nine you get the fox as a pet.

You can read in the tooltip itself that there already is a 9 tailed fox exchange planned, and here it is as well in the event notice:

So who knows what that is going to be

ah, didn't even notice that, I could be wrong but I still get the feeling that might have nothing to do with a pet, hope i'm wrong though.
