For limited time we got item called "Blessing of Fragrant Wind" which boots lifeskilling. It would be nice to see a way to get that (or similar kind of item) as pernament item. Right now there are treasure items that can be obtained/created by defeating monsters, but what about those who prefer to lifeskill in this game?
My suggestion is to add some special items that you get from gathering, fishing, farming, cooking, alchemy and hunting. After obtaining all of the differend items from differend lifeskill activities we would get new title + special item with additional stats for lifeskillers. Blessing of Fragrant Wind is a perfect example of what item could be used as a treasure item.
HP/MP potions, map, compass, merchant ring are all great items, but not relevant for lifeskillers ... well maybe HP potion for hunters, but that's it.
Lifeskillers want some love also :)
While I agree treasure items for lifeskilling is a nice idea, the blessing is exactly NOT what a treasure item should be.
Blessing of fragrant wind is a direct boost to you lifeskilling POWER, attaching what is basically a second alchemy stone of life slot to you, which isn't what treasure items should represent. They should and mostly do, represent small bonuses that dont really affect your characters powers, with the exception being the nol and you could argue rich merchant ring.
If blessing were a treasure item, every lifeskilling guide would want you to beeline for it. This is mostly why we got the potion pity pieces, because in today's game they are basically mandatory.
Again, I agree lifeskilling treasures are a great idea, just that they need to be "cool things" and not direct player boosts like blessing.
Adding to this,
I think getting compass pieces from sea content would be a nice thing as you could use that when moving around the sea the same way you would in the desert.
I would imagine that there are a lot of people that do life skilling and sea content but dont really grind and there are no chance for them to get a compass unless they stop the content they enjoy and most likely have to spend huge amount of time grinding.
To get a priece, it could be a rare reward from the special bartering and it could even be gated behind sailing/bartering skill and/or that you need to have completed x amount of barters for it even to be available to get.
