One of the major problems when first starting out Bartering was learning the weigh limits of your ship.  With the added number of Barters available this is going to be a huge stumbling block for many with lower level ships.  Also the lack of an ability to either place one item in your pack or destroy it to lower overweight issue is another issue that needs attention. I would like to see the following to help improve Bartering.

 1) Decrease the weight of all barter items by 100LT (This would allow for a couple extra items to be transported)

 2) Create a Barter node at Oquillas Eye

 3) Add a Storage Keeper to Quillas Eye so Barter items for Margoria Barters could be stored there

 4) Add additional higher level Barter nodes across the upper tier of islands IE: Crows Nest towards Oquillas eye and beyond.

 5) Decrease the cooldown for Barter refresh by half

 6) Set the minimum Crow Coin exchange for T5 items to 100 Crow Coins. Traveling to Hakoven for single digit amounts of coins is a waste of time and resources.

 7) Should a ship be sunk and need to be recalled allow barter items to be saved. It is bad enough having regen sailors and repair ship.

 8) Make quest Event: Bag and Tag Lema Island Sealife and permanent option at Oquillas Eye.  This is a fairly easy quest to help lower level ships work towards upgrades for carrying heavier loads.

 9) Add a feature for daily challenge rewards that would allow for a choice of normal item or one that pertains to Bartering, Ship Ugrades or Ocean content

10) Increase Parley total or drease amount used per Barter.

Any other ideas welcome

Honestly the changes feel a bit like a nerf? Can't even do two full exchanges (10x1, 10x3) from Base to T2 mats before going completely overweight, and since there's no Parley changes, even at Master 30 going to T2 mats drains me of 20% of my max Parley...

Even one T3->T4 trade (10x2) will put my volante with +10 blue gear overweight since it's 20k weight total..for ONE full trade.

I don't think 100 LT. reduction per item is enough though. This would mean that T2s are 700, T3s are 800, T4/T5s, 900.

Assuming you get a perfect trade route of 10xT1 -> 10xT2x3 -> 10xT3x3 -> 10xT4x2 -> 10xT5x1 That gives you a total of 20x T2, 20x T3, 14x T4, 6x T5 or (14000+16000+12600+5400) which is 48000 LT. And that's WITH each item reduced by 100 LT already. Pre-change a perfect trade route would put you at like 27k LT. or something which would make you slow, but you could still stack to the max amount. Now it's impossible since the max weight for a 19k ship is 30k.

Very good suggestions. I'll add this: Double the crow scroll parly refresh to 500k and reduce it's cooldown to 2 hours. Without that the new changes only mean that we'll be out of parlay even sooner and then time gated until we can do a little bit more.

They should do away with the Parley system. It's an additional and unecessary limiter when there is already other limiters you couldn't surpass anyway such as the limit on each individual barter and refresh limits. I've never seen the point of games having a ridiculous web of systems to time gate content as if you can surpass their other limits. I don't ever expect them to completely remove the time gates on bartering, but parley should just be removed at this point.

Bartering was the only part of this game I still enjoyed (when they did a big the anti-cheat update that screwed over a ton of us innocent players stuck on old outdated win7 / win8 OS builds).  Seeing what they're doing now with Sea "content" makes me GLAD I completely lost access to this game because it prevented me from sinking 10k more hours into what would have been a huge massive DISSAPPOINTMENT with this wet fart of an update that they'd been dangling in front of us Sailors for over a year and a half now...

back then: grind 200m/hr, maximum 300 at the top

barter: whole day around 700m

now: grind 2b and more with buffs (increase by 5-10 times)

barter: whole day still around 700m

the buffs you ask for are still far too low.

every content should also scale whenever they decide to double grind income for no reason

I tried the updated bartering, I honestly think the devs don't play the game. The changes feel like an over all nerf.

all they did was make it so you did not have to go to so many island to do one run because they never fix the weight eather make the ship carry more or make the barter weight less

It's not just lower level ships that are affected by the barter item increase, but nothing changed about weight. Anything not an advanced (and I guess balance) become overweight if the item multiplier is 3 and you do the full exchange. After ANY full exchange, valor and volante are forced to go back to port immediately or risk being overweight, adding needless time to bartering. Advanced was the pick you took if you planned on elongated bartering trips and/or overweight bartering. Prior to these bartering changes, it was completely possible for a valor and volante to exchange from normal all the way through to 5 and not become encumbered.

Bartering goods should have their weights drastically reduced if not removed. Invetory slots are already a good limiting factor, not to mention the amount of parley used doing a full exchange.

EDIT: Actually, just doing the full 10 exchange on a lv.3 to lv.4 bartering item always puts valor and volante overweight. The exchange that's probably the most attractive if you're doing CC runs for blue gear and nol. My suggestion is remove bartering item's weight or make them almost a non-factor. Parley enforces players to pick and choose how many of what items they want, but even if they pick the full 10 item exchange, they should not immediately be encumbered (as is the case for lv.4).

I agree with all the suggestions, I'll just contribute and give a little more idea about the "Parley and Economic"

1) - What would be the argument for continuing with this parley system? I have the 12 routes unlocked (20k+ exchanges), doing all the tier 4 and tier 5 exchanges, I will reach an average of approximately 500m per list. Considering we have 3 lists available, we are talking about 1.5B being made in approximately 3~5 hours (depending on your ship)

Remove the parley, we are already limited by the amount of exchanges and islands.

1.1) - Considering the removal of the parley, we would also be doing the exchanges for crow coin, which would give approximately (RNG) about 2k per list (5~6k day). We would have a currency in our hands that could provide liquidity for items such as caphras and memory fragments.

We could have several items being sold in the store and with that, we could feed the game market, making it a liquidity cycle to try to escape silver inflation.

1.2) - With the removal of the parley system, we also have to think about new benefits given through lifeskill level. Here are some suggestions:

• Increased item purchase limit for crow coin, example: (G50) can buy up to 50 boxes of caphras per day.

• Increased the minimum number of crow coins obtained, example (G50) 30 crow coins per tier 4 islands and 300 crow coins on havoken island...

Final - Make your own analysis and calculations and you will see that we are not leaving the current reality of the game. Barter, in short is silver generation, with the changes suggested above, we would still be below other examples of silver generation in the game, however I believe that we would be at a fair point for the current moment.
