Hello all,
What is the difference on those two season servers, a part from pre-requisites to enter? I can choose both for my season character (starting playing now, new player here), but I don't really know if there is anything special between them
Also, once you create a season character, can you move it freely between season servers?
thanks
A season character can go to both season servers and non-season servers. And as a new player, you can go to novice servers too.
Novice servers just means that the community that you are playing with are all new(-ish). They will generally have less resources than veteran players can bring with them into season. The BDO experience differences will be more of a level playing field too.
Black Desert isn't like most MMOs where you're restricted to the channel you create a character on, truthfully, there are only multiple channels in order to avoid conflicting grind-spots.
What Entropoid mentioned is correct, I also recommend you play within the Seasonal servers so you may receive drops that are only available within those servers, such as the time-filled stones. This would also let you play with New and Veteran players alike as the newest season just began, so many of the players can offer assistance where if you're within Olvia, it's mostly New/Returning players and you may not be able to receive as much help within Server Chat.
Since you're new, I would enjoy the benefits of playing on a Seasonal server, many Veteran players only go through with it for some rewards so later down the road most zones are empty. This'll be very beneficial to you as a new player as you won't have as many contested areas and can grind freely.

Thanks both for the info! was very helpful. I would play on a normal season server then :D
May I ask another thing? I noticed I had a 15 day value pack activated on my character when i entered the game, is this a free one that is applied to every new player? Is this some kind of season gift or alike? Cause I have not bought or activated any item, but it was there, and is counting the days :D
Thanks!
Yes its free for every new or returning player when they join the game. The first 15 days they get a free VP directly applied to their account.
We have a new guild member and after signing up she comes automatically on an
"EU_Season Novices only".
When she wants to change server, the game closes and she can't log in again.
I would be very happy if someone had a solution for this
