The problem is that red players do not suffer any consequences because they would have to be killed first, and they only attack players who are unable to do so.

In the unwanted and toxic open pvp that is in bdo, only the victim of this system bears the loss.

On land it is blocked with mobs and loses exp and crystals (so its dead from mobs not from pk).

On the water he loses hundreds of millions in barter items, healing sailors and a lot of wasted time.

I have already written here, I will repeat: we remove penalty for death and open pvp can exist.

And players have the right to express their opinion and demand changes.

And PA have the right to refuse the said demands at the same time for whatever reasons.

PvE servers are not the way to go in my opinion.

I do however feel players should be allowed to choose a "Lifeskill only option."

The way I believe this should work is similar to WoW's War system.

You go to a capital city and can "activate" Warband. This allows you the ability to flag for PvP, or be attacked by someone else like the way the system currently works.

If you "deactivate" Warband, then you cannot engage in PvP at all, nor be attacked by anyone. This could be great for Lifeskillers, or explorers to play freely and not have to worry about PvP. To prevent people from going into grind zones with this deactivated it could place a debuff like reduced AP/accuracy, or reduced monster damage until the Warband is activated again.

And ? It does not matter same situation if u are red everyone can attack u ... tbh I met with this situation ONCE and you know what ? Nothing I just pressed respawn at the nearest safe location who cares... 

As a returning beta player to find this out olivia wont be available all the time was a massive let down. i am really enjoying the game as is atm but could see myself doing the same and takeing months off at a time to qualify for new player which sucks that pvp wont be optional considering this is a game i really wanted to sink some hours into iv just completed magnus quest aswel to get my first boss armor aswel lol .

guessing il just have to find out what its like once servers gone i really hope its not as bad as it seems which atm sounds it tbh and could be the end of my new found love of this game

so if i  get killed in pvp by a random when im out fishing for example i dont loose crystals or exp for life skills or loot ?if thats the case im happy to hear that if thats true

Yes, your character dont lose xp, dont lose crystals, dont degrade gear on PvP/PK death. And if you PK someone you have karma. If you go negative you lose all that. Not at once. Sadly there some exploits - karmabombing and mobfeeding. So be carefull. In sea You can lose your boat durability, but there is no harm to your char.

If you are returning player you might not know but there are Marni zones - some areas has option to go solo for 1 hour. So can grind one hour alone whithout anyone to bother you.

For AFK fishing and AFk horse training, it is recommended to do those activities on a level 49 alt.  Level 49 and below cannot be flagged on.

My fisher is level 49 and can fish anywhere.  Including hotspot fishing in the great ocean.  My level 66 main is my horse trainer who horse trains in Heidel, a safe zone.

BDO devs needs to open their eyes. The data is clear. If the game doesn't force you PVP and let you freely PVE, the population of the game will be 2x or even 3x by it's now.
