Given that Rangers in Kamasylvia use Ferrinas for mounts, I'm a little surprised no Ferrina mount has been introduced.  I'm not sure what kind of characteristics it would have that would make it interesting enough to potentially replace a horse, at least part of the time.  Donkeys at least have more inventory.  Rangers would have a bonus of some kind.  Maybe it would be a special mount similar to the donkey for a Shai.

If only Shai Donkey actually worked with Riding Crop.... and got more speed.

One thing that helps is to get the Shai to Training Prof 1 so she can use Continual Run-Run.

It would be interesting to see these added as a sort of discount pegasus similar to the april fools donkey.

They could be more fragile than horses and lacking combat skills like charge/forechop/etc. Maybe even have combat skills disabled while riding them all together like the other non-horse mounts, making them just used for getting around and gliding.

Thanks to all of the guard npcs, they already have more or less all of the animations they could need. It likely wouldn't be difficult to implement in a similar way to how acquiring a baby elephant works. They could even make it a quest line where you raise them from an egg and have a rideable mount at the end.

An alternative... far less fun way to do it would be to make a pearl shop skin that makes your horse look like one. It could function like how some outfits take up multiple slots while being one piece.

That's a good idea.  Have a quest line where you get an egg.  At some point, you "open" the egg and get a special pet Ferrina.  This pet grows into a mount later in the quest line.

Problem is, Donkuanatt isnt around.
