Do the devs intend on addressing the green off-hand META?

From a game design standpoint, it seems very odd that a ~25 bil silver item (C20 Green OH) outperforms a ~150 bil silver item (V BS OH + Garmoth Heart) in many PvE and PvP scenarios.  I realize this is mostly due to the combined effects of the Crystal Preset system and AP caps in grind zones.  As a result, Kutum is massively underpowered, particularly in PvE, compared to green OH's and even Nesser, a 50 CP item that doesn't even require any direct silver cost at all.

What I'd like to know is how the devs plan on addressing this.  Or is this how they intend to design their game?  Green grade > Red/Yellow grade?

Build diversity is important, and I do not intend on diminishing the innate value of accuracy and evasion offhands.  It just doesn't make sense to me why a 150 bil item would be worse than a 25 bil one, in this many cases, for both PvE and PvP from a game design standpoint.  Where's the motivation to gear up these days?

I'm aware lol.  But it's actually up to a whopping 30 mil now on NA lul xD

Something's really off with game design when green gear outperforms yellow and red.  Amazingly poorly thought out, really impressive, actually.  10/10.

It was pretty cool being me and finally getting my PEN: Blackstar sub-weapon after 57 fails only for green sub-weapons and Nesser to be better right around the exact same time, not even a whole month later. Great design here.

I remember rooting for you in that post you made.  For now, I guess what we need to do is wait until it's addressed, because there's no way something like this is intended....right?  Right?  (Pass me more copium pls)

Even before the Crystal Preset System was introduced, accuracy and evasion OHs were always valuable pieces of gear.  Now that these OHs can effectively use two crystal slots as opposed to one - along with AP caps being revealed - NA/EU are (rightfully) abusing the crap out of it due to devs falling asleep at the wheel on this one.

It's not necessarily green OH's being bad innately, IMO, it's 100% a game design issue.  Green OH > Red grade.  OMEGALUL moment. 

Time to bag my V BS on my tagged Striker, bust out the TRI Scale Vambrace, and back to Saunil Elite farming I go!!  Woooo :D <3 /s QQ high on copium.

The game is cluttered with useless items in absolutely every part of it.

They just lost track of their databases and systems over the years, and said systems weren't solid enough to begin with.

BDO stat system was flawed since the very beginning. You can't make a coherent stats system when your original design was to hide most of them from players and manage it in backstage (no, it was never a question of "let the players test it by measuring pixels on screens, it's fun !"). You can't have any confindence in them to handle things in a sensible way when their first intention was to keep players in the dark.

It's a recurrent problem in MMORPGs, it's even more apparent in BDO because the roots of the issue were there since the beginning.

this aged badly.... obviously its all about adding more damage to the game.
