Several of the Awakened Witchards abilities depend on the pet being active for all its damage to go off.
This is especially determental when you're getting pummeled at your base.
While other classes rez and hop out using their full invuln timers to do damage.
Awk Witchards have to stand there, pull out pet, wasting valueable time.
This isn't a buff to the class, its an overdue quality of life update that needs to be done.
Also, this change would only effect the 27 people who actually still pvp as Awakened Witchard, so not a big community impact either.
OR.. just remove the pet entirely and add the damage modifiers to abilities without them..
Back in the day, its CC was slightly useful in PVP. Today, with the infinite quick protected movement that 90% of classes have, its completely worthless.

I honestly think developers didnt even try playing the class considering how they ignore stuff thats literally making it extinct.

I thought 27 was a pretty generous estimate. Unless you really love playing this class, you've moved on.

name of the company is Pearl Abyss and they sell Pearls and whole endgame gear progress (higher tier fallen god armors and deboreka accessories etc) is actually bottlenecked with cronstone cash shop sales.

Didn't PA just reworked witchards again just 1 - 2 months ago? Skills that required pet to be activated to do it's full dmg was changed so no matter which pet is active, your skills will do it's max dmg no?

The did rework witchards pets to allow them to share skill modifers for all skill elements, regardless of which pet was out, BUT it still has to be out..
Extend that to NW rezzes, while other classes are darting out with invul and their full kit, Awk Witchards have to stand there and pull out their pet, and then engage to get full damage. Effectively removing 30% or so of our invul time.
Our damage is gimped enough because of class damage modifiers, we shouldn't have to jump through hoops every single death to take advantage of our full, yet mediocre kit..
It is entirely true that the Summons of awakening casters can be a real detriment when it comes to using ressurect iframes in nodewar or using elion tears or when spawm camped. They're simply the worst class when spawn camped since you'll wish to waste some precious time for summoning the pet, more still for speed spell, potentially magical lighthouse (blue orb), mana shield and voilà: 3 sec spent for simply rezzing.
However, the class is bland enough as it is, it cannot have its summons removed because what else does it got otherwise?
I would argue that a more elegant solution to the pointed out issue in the post is to whenever the 60 min buff of a pet summoned is active, it will
1. Pet buff persists through death of both the caster and the summon's death. (Some classes have death-persistant class buff already so it's possible).
2. Whenever the summon buff is active, if the summon is currently dead, it should call the same associated summon as the buff whenever an associated flow is casted. ( Pet dead = Whenever Yoke of Ordeal or Equilibrium break is casted, automatically bring back Gorr if yellow blessing is active; Voltaic or Thunderstorm to bring back Tett if blue blessing is active.
This way, the awakening caster can quickly come into action after a nodewar ressurrect without worrying about the pet summon. Additionally, for a pet CC user, they will have it active back momentarily and normally in combat when spawn camped. Additionnally, of course, it fixes that whole issue with pet dying in nodewar or siege (especially uncapped) where they can die in one push.

they just need to make pet blesssing passive, which makes sense since changes they did to it. this whole summoning pre requisite, when pets die in group pvp super fast is just a major hindrance and unfun mechanic. and its only one of the broken thinsgs these specs have to suffer.
This would be a nice quality of life that's for sure but as someone who has played wizard since beta and awk wiz since it came out i can honestly say it's not a big deal unless you are being spawn camped in like sycraia or Hystria where you have to tear or be sent out when you respawn
