I just spent few hours exploring this new area, and one thing I'm missing the most are Imperial Delivery NPCs. It would be great if there was at least Imperial Fishing manager on this island, or at least somewhere close. It seems wastefull to just sell of all the fishes to normal trade manager, and it's also inconvenient to go from LoML to Veila just to make Imperial Delivery.

Hopefully Imperial Fishing NPC will be added to this new continent aswell.

I would like this as well, especially when you factor in that distance doesn't affect Imperial delivery. It may just be a lore reason, but im hoping that its just an oversight.

It's not just the Imperial Fishing, it's all the imperials missing from the new continent, including Liana and (I believe) Dalishan.

It seems really bad to cook or to alchemize or to ... just have your lifeskiller over here.

I took my main (my shai, my lifeskiller) over to LoML and missed imperials the first day because I wasn't paying attention. But today, I looked to find where I could make & turn in imperials and ... there's nowhere. Feels pretty bad to be down 150mil or so each day b/c I chose to take my lifeskiller to the new continent and have fun.

(I really hate using the magnus to travel and don't want to pay 40mil and sit through 4 loading screens each day in travel fees just to turn in imperials.)

Its really saddening how it lacks all those. 
Cooking or doing anything in the new region is pointless. Manor is pointless.

Until I read your post I was having a hard time coming up with a snappy name for this area.

But now I got one that makes sense:

I can't seem to find any good reason to move main character to this continent. It's way too romote to not have any Imperial managers nearby, and I hope that will change in the future. Otheriwse as a lifeskiller I will just go around, get new knowdlege and all fishing titles from this area, than straight back to "old" continent and forget about LoML.

I do hope more changes and updates are comming for this area.

It's right there at the start of the story:

We're literally sent by Igor to develop trade ties with Nampo for Balenos. So one obvious option would be to have various trade related functions available once we finish establishing these trade ties, whatever that entails. I assume that will be done during the main quest there at some point, as it's the reason, only reason, we go (story-wise).

Maybe various trade/delivery related NPCs appear when we finish the main story, or the story arc related to establishing trade ties.
