Cmon man, what new player will actually lvl to master? Even IF they find out they can auto sprint with prof it will be the highest they go for.

Training is arguably the most unrewarding lifeskill in the game! New players will do something fun instead.

I dont even know why i am arguing, PA will will roll the dice anyways and our (as in this forum) inputs wont matter.

Btw i spend 6months for elten, running circles pressing same buttom aint hard. Wake up. Its just a game no1 but you cares.

I don't get why you want to discredit the effort and time spent of people in a video game. By your logic nothing is hard and nothing matters. Why are you here then? Go fix world hunger, that's something that's really hard and really does matter.

But no, you spend your time trying to diminish the ideas of people taking part in a lifeskill to improve said lifeskill. Why do you care if apparently no one besides me does?

Let's say, hypothetically, I'm a Barbie girl. Okay, let's even say I'm in a Barbie World.
Right, so in this scenario, I would obviously know from personal experience that life in plastic is fantastic.
Wouldn't it be reasonable to assume you can brush my hair and undress me literally everywhere?
Imagination you can derive from the fundamentals of basic logic and life is your creation.
Therefore, it is of utmost importance that I am a Barbie girl who is indeed, in a Barbie World.

I fully agree with making training matter more but this has always been a thing (for example the tier 9 system was "the end-game for horse trainers" yet it had you do everything except horse training after you got your courser (grinding, fishing, questing with just 1 small quest for horse mats and the rest kama dailies, farming, etc and those boxes you can get for seals were added way later and aren't worth it because you can sell the crystals and buy more mats than the seals give you...). And coursers could just be bought). Imo they have a bad track record when it comes to making training actually relevant and meaningful (because they make you do everything but training, even for horse content) - so buffing the mats you get for your training level is indeed the least they could do. Still not enough in my opinion, but let me not derail the thread any more.

The biggest issue to me is still the mythical feathers, because while we have been given more ferns and flowers through events and such and their piles have grown a bit more, the feathers even though they were added to field bosses are such a pain to obtain.

Even if you do both weeklies and get 4 feathers thats is only 40% of what you need for 1 attempt each weak. It's so painfully slow even if it's double now. It's just such a poor decision to time gate, especially this badly.

I got lucky with offin and field boss hunting and got like 4 extra feathers. Still not enough for even 1 attempt a week.

Honestly, I feel like the amount mentioned in the OP is not enough because the baseline is not enough. I feel like we should be able to at least get 1 attempt a week

Sorry I read that wrong; not 5 total for guru but 5 per weekly of course so that would indeed be 1 attempt. Yes, that is fair. That also makes the weekly gathering thing (again something you have to do that has jack all to do with the training lifeskill) at least worth doing more, because even with 2 feathers, the low drop rate of what you need for those wings can take hours. For a 2 40 mil feathers, for an activity that has nothing to do with training.
Honestly, I would like to see more training quests added that gave us all mats OR let the mats be added to the seal exchanges and be actually worth it (unlike the t9 mat box they eventually added that is less value than the crystals everyone still gets, because you can sell those and buy the mats easily instead). They could add an exchange for something like 4*(number of seals obtained for imperial trading T6) =1 feather.

(Also, sorry a bit of derailing again after all, but I want to finally see imperial trading and capturing horses as guild life skill quests! Them outright not including some life skills from participating to the guild is lame. They go out of their way to make trainers do other stuff. And I do loads of other stuff of my own free will; I just like training more than most stuff and feel like I'm always doing other stuff even if it is meant for "horse content").

Well, running around with a t10s is cool and fun to me, plus it is also some sort of an achievements. Especially later, when they add Krogdalo stall into the game. Fun is subjective, there's ppl that like to chill catching horses. Would you say cooking is fun? what about gathering leaves? or chopping trees? Active fishing, do you even know some ppl actually like to do active fishing? its only clicking some buttons and waiting for god knows how long it finishes, its chill gaming and fun for some ppl, while it can be boring AF for others. Even mob grinding for pots/maps/compasses is also boring to some ppl, repeatedly going around 1 shotting mobs.

That just how the game works, its not us who designed it, but there's a lot of stuff you can do, fun/boring whichever you choose, play how you want to play it. "End game" and "Achievements" is also different for each ppl, some ppl have their "End game" after 700+gs, some ppl have their "End game" after reaching Guru for a certain life skill, some ppl have their "End game" after getting T10, etc. you should get the point.

6 months is nothing, there's people who keeps tapping for T10 horses since it releases, and never gets it until now. How many years was that? Its not hard, but its very time consuming. Yes you are right, no1 cares but your own. And its a choice that ppl want to do, to try and get that "Achievement" and hopefully to have fun with it. Just like its a choice for anyone to grind "boring stuff" for treasure pieces.

Training is arguably the most unrewarding lifeskill in the game!

Isn't this also the point of the suggestion? to actually improve training so more ppl will want to try and reach master/guru? It's not like the suggestion limits the t10s only for guru/master level, everyone still can get it, but if you want it faster/easier, you can try reaching for master/guru level. Again, its a choice, not mandatory. If you're not into training, I guess this suggestion is not for you, there's no downside on your end, but it can benefit others.

Do you really trying to say clicking buffs and doing the minigame is hard work?  Cmon, nobody but ppl who waste their time on it and regret that think that. I got map, compass 3 sets of pots and none of that was hard work.

You get more if you play more, you want that newer players dont catch up to you. Hence gatekeep. But you prove my point. "Muh hard work gets thrown out of the window if the new players get it easy and i had to suffer" Thats all i see.

If you're talking about pots and treasure pieces, there have been a lot of buffs, events and etc, to improve and makes it easier for new ppl. Why is it wrong to suggest similar buffs on training content. Again, there's no downside for others, only benefit. Those who have failed their T10s for years, they hated it, they cursed, they complain, but doesnt really regret it, because it is still something they want to achieve. Hence the above suggestion to make it faster and easier, especially for newer player, so that these newer player doesnt have to go through the same "Hard work" (which means time) as they did.
