Removing crystal break is a very dumb idea unless it is replaced by some other method to punish a player for dying that doesn't kill the crystal market.
Nothing is forcing you to use a girin crystal at spots where there is a risk of dying. If you want to use the best crystals at the hardest spots, this is a risk/reward scenario. I much prefer games with risk/reward instead of braindead ones.
BDO has already been revoltingly dumbed down so much in so many areas, it doesn't need to be made child-proof.
problem is in last month of grinding gyfin under i got 5 deaths, 4 are from lag spikes and only 1 because i got distracted

I agree that there needs to be a form of risk, however, crystals being completely deleted shouldn't be the way to approach this.
I, as well as others, have alternative posts on potential solutions to this issue.
One of the biggest concerns is it affecting the market, by reducing the crystals sold.
Yet, you can easily have crystals have a usage of grinding into a repair material.
By having the crystals auto-delete when the majority of deaths are out of our control, then forcing individuals to pay real money to repair it... or grind multiple hours to get it back. -This is the problem most of us currently have an issue with.
There is no reason a crystal couldn't have durability like armor or an alchemy stone.
Why would they do that if they can make money off of it? Lol
A response from staff would be nice right about now - Y'all are staying quiet, even when multiple players and ambassadors brought this up.
A "hey we'll consider this" would be better than silence.

the response was the new pearl shop item to increase crystal restore count for 24€(!) each. XD
-1 Girin after lag spike at Yzrahid; 1/3 restore count remaning now; 1/3 motivation to play the game left
In hindsight, I know I will be happy if this ends up in me quitting, as I will never pay 24E for 1 restore/year.
The only response I've gotten from some people is. "Oh their stocks are down, and they need the funds to help pay for their other IPs"
Which to me sounds scummy in three different ways:
1) We shouldn't have to make up lost profits for a company gambling away their stocks.
2) We shouldn't have to pay for a company to make another game, and then not have money for the game we want to play.
- We pay money to help further the development of this game, primarily, as well as the upkeep.
3) What's to say that if we go over to the other IP, later, that the same issue wouldn't occur that is currently occurring here?
With the exchange rate, the price of Korean Won to USD was at worse 0.00074 USD per 1 won, for a 4-month period (quarter) that's 2.96 million USD per 1 billion won, if you multiplied by 84.4 that's $249,824,000 USD
The peak of the exchange during the last quarter was 3.04 million USD per 1 billion won, and their revenue was 80 bil, so that's $243,200,000 USD
That's at worst a difference of 6.62 million USD out of almost a quarter billion, from 3rd quarter to 4th quarter
---
With the current daily count of around 127k players, if we all theoretically bought 3 crystal restores for $72 each, that's about $9.14 million
Enough to get back their quarterly dip
---
However, this is also overlooking the fact they made back most of their money from the 2nd quarter.
...and most players aren't going to buy the restore.
If they actually give us something we want, we'd be more likely to help with financial dip - but if people go around saying they're hurting; These statistics say otherwise.
while i understand there needs to be some form of risk involving when you die, losing crystals
most of the time death occurs when the server hickups, monotizing the crystal system is something i can get behind as well but...
but only 3x a year? just why
it's like you converted the customer support item revival help into a cash grab, 20 bucks for 1+ extra recup A YEAR.. c'mon xD
at this point you could remove crystals from the market entirely, make crystals rarely obtainable, add durablity on them and add some item to restore crystal durability on the market and ingame, remove crystal breaking and remove the extra crystal purchage on the market.. it's just not neccassary to go this far
there's so many ways to go about this system in a better way
don't develop a problem and sell us a solution, it's just not ok because games are meant to be fundamentally enjoyable

Why should there be any risk? It's 2024, not 2005, to continue with this masochistic mentality.
If it was a small loss, you could understand it, but losing even 1% of exp on lvl above 60 or losing a crystal worth a few b completely discourages you from continuing to play.
And any form of protection added in IS is total p2w, and the place of p2w mmo games is in the dustbin of history.
