I'm a huge fan of Thornwood Forest, the 250 AP version, not Dehkia. But I have a big complaint about the elite monsters, the Bear, Wolf and Khalks.

They are elites, which means they are tankier and deal more damage, but the loot is equal to that of the normal monsters in the area, which makes no sense.

We should be getting at least 5 times more trash loot from them compared to the normal monsters around them.

Not to mention, the rare drops, at least for me, mostly drop from all the other monsters and not the elites and it should be the other way around.

So I'm very confused what the idea was behind the elite ones. What purpose do they actually serve? Just placebo?

I did there only like a hour, not fan of that area, but I had feeling that the elite monsters just drops nothing most of the time. 

I like the area. It's very aesthetically pleasing and the rare drops are pretty nice. Ominous Ring, Specter's Energy and Ah'Krad. But yeah, I'm afraid that with the release of Dehkia, the normal Thornwood will not be receiving any love in the near future.
