Please remove the safe zone protections from red and pirate players. They all made the choice to go red and they should not be protected. It is their choice and thrill to go red. Why let pirates continue to abuse the safe zone system to protect them from losing their precious ship when they actively made the choice to hunt people trying to get their precious ship. Why protect these people? If you think they should be protected they can have crows nest and Kuit island as places to be safe at. Same with the night time protection for red players. They choose to be red and probably can care less of being in town. Let players be able to attack these players in safe zones at all times. They have safe zones in Muiquun and probably can add more areas maybe use the cave systems having hidden red player camps where they can be safe. I am tired of almost finishing off red players for them to coward away in a safe zone where I can't finish them off. These instances tend to be in Major towns like velia, Illya, Hiedel, etc.

What? They have no safe zone protections, I have no idea what you are talking about. Guards and players can kill them, with guards being able to downgrade their gear. Pirates don't get attacked by guards and don't have negative karma but they are basically locked out of the ocean. It would be very silly for naval fame to be linked with karma, as naval fame completely replaces karma in the ocean.

Even Miquin isn't a "safe zone" for a red player, there is no where in the game where a red player can not be attacked outside of when at a World Boss.  

I think you are confusing Red players AKA Negative Karma players with players that just flagged up and hit someone then ran to town.  How did you make it to 62 without knowing the difference?

Red players are safe in towns at night, perhaps you should check your own knowledge before you speak to someone so caustically.

Pirate status is not the same as going red. So no Pirates shouldn't be killable in a safe zone cause than your whole account would be fucked if you went pirate by accident an didn't have a carrack.

You wouldn't even be able to switch toons to afk fish in velia or use the MP without a maid or town storage cause pirate status is account bound not character. you are not helpless like you are making it out to be. Also currently all pirate status does is when captaining a ship you can be attacked without the attacker losing any naval karma and using the wharf manager in most cities. You act like it shuts down access to everything. You can fish in velia nothing stops that. The other thing is there is the daily quest to recover your marine status too or you can just go to the sea of silence and just fight the super easy to kill ghost ship to recover your naval karma. Sounds like someone hasn't done much to recover their naval karma. All I suggest is if someone runs into the safezone when their asses are being handed to them I'd like make sure they get finished off vs them being a coward run to a safe zone and just CC away. Game is about pvping right? Why let cowards run away when they are on the ropes.

You kill one boat you get 250k naval hit. Most people who accidentally go pirate are people without a carrack so killing sea monsters is cancerous for them. An the daily doesn't even recover a fraction of that karma loss.. An so your suggesting isn't about PVP it simple you wanting to discourage PVP by fucking over entire players accounts because they decided to sink a fishing boat to see what would happen or because someone annoyed them enough to flag up an shoot another player boat. An saying this would encourage PVP well I know that claim is BS cause no one sitting around town in a is looking to PVP. You just want to fuck over players cause why? Someone flagged up on you an killed you. Your selfish reasons are not a reason to fuck over other player's entire account if the accidentally went pirate.
