Well let´s just not take the trollbait.
It could be interesting how Calpheon Ball turns out but I expect: Some new class - because the game currently is lackluster insofar that it really needs more classes! -, some new singleplayer pve zone, some new rather pointless gear, some new ... *zzzzzz*.

People don't want toxic interactions and that's exactly what they have in BDO, also almost all party content is dead: atoraxxion, horse racing, etc. This game was never designed for party play but for toxic open pvp.
Better ask why there are as many as 75-80% of them.
Because that's what the majority wants, deal with it.
PA, like any other company, produces games for money. Toxic and unwanted open pvp with a few whales does not bring as much profit as a "calm" game for casuals.

Some of the things players are asking for is to have more group content because it's an mmorpg. Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. That doesn't always equate to PvP. But like it or not PvP is part of the game so you have to learn to deal with it. There are plenty of ways to avoid it; marni zones, season character, never level pass 49, change channels, and finally there's always the option to uninstall. Plenty of solo games out there. PvP is only toxic or 'not real pvp' when you lose. PvP is PvP; (player vs player) it's not an acronym of (be nice and ask if the person wants to fight you first). It's not always going to be nice, it's not always going to be fair. It is what it is. I can go a long stretch without being pk'd (unless on Arsha obviously). Typically it's not worth the karma loss especially now with karma being family-wide. If someone is actively pursuing you, you must have really pissed someone off. As for the majority wanting PvE only? I'd say it's pretty even. Most players are fine with PvX (open-world game play with pvp included, a mix of PvE and PvP). You adapt to the game you're playing, not the other way around, (having the game and other players adapt to your specifications).
This. I don't like PVP, I don't want to PVP, and yet I came to this game knowing, at least at the time (6 years ago), there was a big PVP focus in this game. Despite this, I have done all my grind on Arsha for years because of the drop rate. I don't see an issue with open world pvp because there's so many ways to avoid it. I have adapted to the game I suppose in the sense that for one I have rarely if ever in this game grinded wherever the best spots happened to be at any given time because I know they will be the busiest. I have found mobs that paid well enough without being the highest paying and I'm fine switching to a lesser paying rot if the one I want is taken (or if i've been pvped out of it, which happens 95% of the time I'm attacked because despite my 738gs I have never learned to PVP properly because I just don't care to) It really hasn't been a big deal. You CAN adapt to the game if you don't like PVP, i'm living proof.
About being griefed though, it HAS happened twice in all the time I played this game that a player absolutely randomly decided to grief me (I've never done anything that could piss off anyone to my knowledge, never griefed anyone, like I even could... or been obnoxious in chat) and by this I mean they actively chased me from server to server (no doubt using velia guy). Last time, the guy did this for 40 minutes. I reported them, no idea if anything came of it, but while I do consider this 100% griefing, the kind that SHOULD be punishable, it's also been like an hour of all my playtime in the past six years (2012 days of playtime it says on my char sheet.... ok a lot of this was afk but still) so it's not REALLY an issue either I believe.

Yep, pretty much. Quality of Life fixes that should have been done a LONG time ago. Two classes, one of which is another HUMAN FEMALE. The other a male sword and...pipe? New area (Land of Morning Light Pt 2). Says they're sorry for not listening whilst continuing to not listen. Same ole same ole. The hammer wielding class should have been a dwarf male. But nah, we'll make her a cute human female because CLEARLY we do not have enough. Still boring and predictable...
Come on PA! Can't you surprise us once, and NOT suck? Time to bring in new people with fresh ideas. The game is getting a bit stale, which if I'm being completely honest has been for the past several years. 7 years this game has been out, and THIS is the best you can offer? You need to actually LISTEN to your playerbase, not just the ones in Korea. Maybe play your own game? That way you'd have a basic understanding of what the community actually wants. Not just what you think we want.

It's actually mindblowing BDO is in such poor state. We have graphics, established world, good looking combat, QoL are making game more streamlined and yet... there's nothing new and nothing fresh.
There's no endgame PvEvP that can be looked for, and they double down on what they were doing not addressing issues. It's like they see there's something wrong but make decisions that are literally making it worse.
Truly amazing how they could have all the answers they want if they actually listened instead of pretending, bowing, and going back to craping on the people that played their game for years...
