Yeah, it's in whole very weird desicion to judge houses not for beauty but for points. When you see top you think to meet best houses but alas...

Mmm, as I saw on screenshots and in houses all incredible glitches can be recognized. Items in walls, in air, one in another. But some items can be combined witout glitches like Olvia ones for manor. Or some items are easily placed upon another ones. So people even can mind something like a glitch when it's not a glitch, hehe. :)

I think it's faster and easier for PA to turn bug into a feature - just to write a text in patchnotes, hehe. So we will not have to guess is it a glitch or not. And people will share their secrets bolder and openly so everybody will be able to do it.

Also we don't know code of BDO and I afraid it can takes years to remake all housing system. Especially since they need to add more futniture to compensate desicions which was made with glitching (if to not frustrate players, of course). For example - to add items for building stairs, walls, floors, beams, tiny wall lanterns (for laces on the walls) etc. Coz thinking that we have to forget about such possibilities makes pretty upset. Even if player doesn't do it personally player can enjoy it in somebody's houses.

I think most of the things that OP mentioned are great additions and I fully support them. However, my biggest wish is actually for something of the opposite of what others have mentioned: Allow us to search for family's houses so that they don't have to clutter their houses with junk just to get on the leaderboard. Give us the ability to go minimalist, or take advantage of the lower-point furniture items.

BUT...I would only like to see this IF they also implement some sort of privacy measurement (perhaps a password system) that can prevent unwanted visitors from entering, just in case it's not really for visitors.

i agree with this. some of those house items like the plant you get from loml have ridiculously large hitboxes that make it impossible to place near anything. Meanwhile, some other stuff can phase through things so this shouldn't be an issue that needs to be discussed yet here we are. at the very least highlight the items something could be intersecting before you click place only to discover that it collides with something. it's very annoying

yes!!!! housing needs an upgraded placement UI! 

Let's keep rolling with new/old issues as I started another residence:

12) Re-vamp textures on some older furnitures pieces. Example - Grana Partition done is MS Paint, i guess? How was this texture even accepted to be in game...?

13) Also, if residence (not manor) has balcony, let us decorate them too. Make those part of residence.

As a house decor enthusiast, I fully support this! I've given up on my manor garden thanks to the dumb mechanics.
