Ah ya the ones clogging up my storage that every once in a while I do and the summon animation is longer then the fight and  after you do them and you relize you just lost money cuz you could've done anything but those and made more.

I was waiting to see what the reaction to this would be.  

People did get value from these, and I know what I'll be doing the next couple of weeks.  Besides telling PA to stop this nonsense, I mean.

Those summon scroll bosses didn't drop feathers, did they? I don't think they did. Otherwise, I'd be pitching a fit too. 

I was really counting on improving the drops off the scrolls.

That's the whole point.  Why can't they improve these things?

Why get rid of them?

Outdated content, when the auras were combined, these bosses lost their meaning, and their loot was practically worthless nowadays.

My last week and scrolls collected from 775 days (over 2 years!!!):
110 Urugons = 2 Urugons shoes

110 Griffons = 0 Griffon helmet

110 Leeburs = 1 Leebur gloves

110 Giaths = 0 Giath helmet

155 ava Narc and 155 ava Ronaros (ava so 1 scroll per 5 days) = 4 narc ear and 4 forest ring (but also hundreds of black stones and thousands of hunter seals). 

Something is missing? Yes, missing. Why? Because it will be brutal. Almost 4 years of Dim Tree and Muskan scrolls = ZERO Dim Tree armor and ZERO Muskan shoes.

And now we come to the problem that PA, as usual, forgot about! Each boss item gives us a special title. But we will only get this title from the boss loot from the scroll. No scrolls = no titles.

After almost 4 years, I managed to get Muskan shoes from the event box and then we also get the title. But we get this box 1-2 times a year and it is rng.

To sum up: after 4 years, I still don't have the title for obtaining Dim Tree armor (interesting fact, after 3.5 years I received Dim Tree armor from Dim Tree field boss, but as I wrote above: this drop DOES NOT count towards the title).

Summary conclusion: these scrolls were bad and worthless.
Additionally, PA is going to transform field bosses into world bosses (splitting HP between channels), so getting 100 auras is/will be much faster than trying to get these boss items from bosses from scrolls.

I get that a lot of the players want to 'optimize' their time, and get more 'value' from everything they do - but that's not all of us.  There can be, and are, different priorities.  Pretty clear that we are in the minority.  BDO's catering to varied groups has been narrowing substantially to the 'we must optimize' crowd, which, of course, is their prerogative.  What's slightly more concerning is that the 'optimizing' players seem to see any other sorts, and their wishes, as just getting in the way of their optimization.  

So yes, for some of us, the game - the way we saw it - is being slowly dismantled and destroyed.  It's a greyer virtual world out there, and only getting greyer.  Still plenty to enjoy, but the thousand cuts are felt nonetheless.
