Suggestions/Comments: There should be some kind of penalty for spending too much time in the shadow zone at the spawn forcing the player to run out and let the game move forward instead of time wasting.
Recently our guild had a couple of encounters where enemy team would afk because they are facing defeat and would decide hold the match hostage until the timer runs outs. Not sure if anyone else has come across similar kind of issue with enemy guilds?

This change actually went through. And in exchange for that one random guild that might be AFK'ing (to waste their time as well) and holding some guild hostage. Now anytime a guild stomps another guild at the start, they get camped in spawn. So you can only trickle out one at a time and can never group up. This change was terrible. Atleast guilds were afraid of spawn camping because of the dark area before. Not a good change whatsoever, all the crons you gave out to encourage people to come in and play got negated by this. Believing that the pvp community of BDO is nice enough to not spawn camp and give the other guild an equal opportunity to play and have fun is just ridiculous.
