Sausan's / Pirate's era holds fond memories among many Adventurer's I've spoken with.  "Fun group content with fun PVP", basically.  Mirumok, Elvia Castle Ruins, Gyfin, all fall short (IMO OFC) of the glory that was once held by the top spots during the Mediah/pre-Valencia period (Sausan's/Pirate's).

I would like to see some of this glory recaptured.  One way I think this can be done is creating a grind zone, maybe in Haso or the snowy region, that is able to foster both groups and solo grinders alike.  No huge advantage / disadvantage whether you're solo or in a group, reminiscent of Sausan's and Pirate's.  At least from what I remember...I used to almost live on Pirate Island / Lema (or is it Illya?  Forget, can't check rn, sorry), keeping my main there for months.  Fond memories of going out solo, roaming through main rotation to find a group.  This allowed social interaction not really found in today's game.  If I couldn't land a group, no problem, check out the Beach / Jungle rotations, etc. and grind solo, no sweat.

Pirate's Island holds fond memories of group fighting with 4 other randoms on my team.  These were the META spots.  Players from a wide range of GS could grind there...if a player was lower GS, they could possibly find a group to carry them (if the group was willing).  Players who met the spots' requirements could easily solo grind, no problem.  5 man parties on Pirate's Island was a normal thing, a group was almsot always there on every server, so, obviously, this will spark some battles!  And how glorious these battles were, even the losses!  If you're into PVP, then I'm sure you can imagine how much fun it would be to meet new people, and have to join forces / form cohesion in some way to successfully defend main rotation from those who want it for themselves.  GVG would spark, and massive GVG battles would ensue.  I remember being a part of a multiple guild GVG on Pirate Island over main rotation, it was glorious.  I've made new friends during this era in this way, who I still keep in contact with, whether they still play or don't play anymore.

I feel by creating a grind zone similar to Sausan's / Pirate's in that it allows for both group and solo grind, without an overly-steep gear requirement, could recapture some of these great memories I, and others I've spoken with, miss.  Thoughts?

Maybe you should try playing the game and following the updates?

How could someone possibly ask for this after so many group based areas have already been released.  In a variety of areas and max members.  Even some of the newest Hadum Areas are specifically designed this way.  It's WRITTEN ON THE MAP.

And guess what THERE ARE SOLO DESIGNATED AREAS TOO.

Seriously do you even play BDO?

Gee if only these "where the META spots".

What are you going to ask for next Black Star Boots?

Yet another arrogant and provocative post based on ignorance of what OP explicitely said: it not about solo or group spots it's about spots compatible with both playstyles.

You can now proceed to apologize for your mistake leading to yet another abuse of caps and bold characters that only emphasis how out of point you are.

What's up with the hostility?  LOL?  Uncalled for.  And you wonder why people dog on you.

You're missing a key factor.  But I won't tell you what it is.  Maybe if someone else asks.  You're just a toxic troll.

Thank you.  Instead of offering a counter point as to why Vortexii / 2Cents / "retto" doesn't like the suggestion, it's "DoYoU EvN PlAy ThE GeAm?!?!"

Bruh.  Saying this from an unlinked account too.  Like, what.  Are people so stupid as to not see how tera-moronic this is.

Simley, there's no link, can you try posting again?  Might be my browser, IDK.

Some of my best, most fun, memories were from this era.  Hopefully, some of that can be recaptured somehow.

A grind spot, that is; 1) Relevant (silver income plays a major role in this), 2) Accessible (kinda high-ish requirments, but not over-reaching, let's say maybe just a tad bit stronger than Star's End), and 3) Spot can be farmed solo, duo, trio, quad, or penta-person parties, without huge drawbacks (assuming they have the gear to clear well, obviously, the smaller your grup, the better your gear would need to be if looking for efficiency).

One of the biggest things I miss from Pirate's Island is a type of social interaction not found in today's game.  On Pirate's, solo players, like myself, would often head to main rotation hoping to find a group to join.  Example, when starting a grind session, I'd first check main roto.  If there's a group, I'd walk up and ask to join in...initiating this type of social interaction.  We don't have that nowadays, the closest being Mirumok, but players usually head there with pre-organized parties.  Solo grind is not efficient at Miru unless the player has excessive gear for the spot.  Pirate's wasn't like this....ofc, you need decent gear relative to the spot to solo, but not excessive like how Trees is if you plan on being efficient.

More things too like the awesome PVP on Pirate's.  The vets will remember, I'm sure!

If anyone reading has a gripe with the idea, or reasns as to why it wouldn't work or something, I'd like to know.  Just please respond like a non-turd bucket hell-bent on inflicting emotional / mental unrest through troll-ish behavior.  Thanks.  I'd like the conversation to go somewhere, not devolve into insults like other threads.

Eh, just make all of Mediah and Calpheon into Elvia spots as well except Elric shrine because fuck that place.  Nastalgia reclaimed.

Actually I would look forward to Helms becoming a real grind spot again, that was some fun PvP, especially when Zerkger Grabbing someone and throwing them into the pit.
