1. In the Forum overview you can't see if a Forum has new Threads or Post or if it even has any Threads. 

2. (In a forum) You can't see when the last post of a thread was created.

3. You can't open single thread in a new tab/window.

4. You can change your name and avatar as often as you want but the change does not apply to old posts but only to all those made after the change. (so you can have a new name and avatr in every post!)

5. The limitation of avatars and the "reason" why it is made this way is just bullsh**.

6. There is no notification function (eg. for new answers to a thread)

7. There is no way to jump to the last post of a thread.

I am actually in favor of *Not* having these abilities in the forum:

- Following a specific user

- Following a specific thread

- Notifications when a thread is responded to

These three particular functions while handy and do allow you to keep engaged in a discussion, also provide enhanced opportunities for "forum trolls" and related typical behaviors that the previous forums were over-ran with.  "Forum Warriors" for lack of a better term, would utilize these three functions to stay "glued" to a topic attempting to control a conversation, harass other posters, or just degrade a topic in general.  

You can easily contribute to a thread without having to dominate it, and if you want to watch a specific topic you can always bookmark it.   Also, not being able to see which posts in the forum (overall view) are new, cuts down on the amount of forum warriors attempting to utilize their "megaphones" to dominate the forums and change the forums atmosphere into one not intended or beneficial for the game.  The way it is now, you have to find and engage the section of the forum that means the most to you, rather than attempting to use the forum for a platform for whatever ulterior motives.

This forum sucks big time. Every time you revisit a thread it puts you at the first post, there is no fast scroll button to go to the bottom  of the page, there is no ability to block a person and there is no forum moderation.

Agreed, there is still quite a bit of work that still needs to be done on these forums. Having an alert that you have been quoted/replied to would be nice, as well as opening a thread to the first unread message and the new tab options are the highest priority, imo.

As a workaround, End key will take you to the bottom of the page.

Thanks for link. I have no idea what it is saying as I am not that computer literate so I will just hope they add an arrow to the bottom just as they have one for the top.

this forum indeed lacks basic functonality and is very inconvenient.
