Previously Dusk was a super armor when used off cooldown. Movement is intergral to DK as she has no grabs and limited access to super armor.
Dusk in its current state is nonviable, as it leaves the player completly unprotected and highly susceptible to crowd control effects.
With the changes coming on the 26th im glad to see Dark Knight getting some attention, however this will not address the core issue of the skill having far too many gaps between successive Dusk chains. The super armor on cooldown was intergral to the playstyle of Dark Knight, and still offered counterplay since grab mechanic is extremely prevelant on majority of classes in BDO.
Lets take sage for example, the class is losing some I-frame, howerver they are giving back some super armor on movement in addition to grab resist and damage reduction for losing moments of invulnerability. Seems fair to some extent right?
Unfortunantly this treatment was not considered in the nerfs to DK, and I could not in good concious reccomend this class to anyone with intentions on being competetive in PvP, or PvE for that matter.
More than recieving damage adjustments, such as the ones proposed to apply on the upcoming 26th patch, I for one would like to see this super armor reinstated. Please consider reimplimenting the super armor back into Dusk while used on cooldown. It would be at least one step in the right direction to making this class enjoyable again.
Yes, this would definitely help. There are several things that DK does not have or had nerfed, but other classes still keep it. Another example would be lahn, whose awk iframes also have SA on cooldown; or when they nerfed prime slanted balance's cc range, lahn can do almost the same range in a grab at the same speed...
At this point I just assumed they were going to leave DK as a dead class, but since PA has been recently paying some attention to her and not buffing, but fixing her, we can have some hope.

To be fair, it was on release for a few weeks. But yea, this is a very long time ago. Back then, smokey was also an iframe, btw. But idk, i don't think it can really be used for comparison any more.

You couldn't even use dusk on cooldown on release, so im unsure how this could be true.
It was made usable during cooldown in the same patch when they removed the super armor->iframe->super armor from smokey, it never had super armor on cooldown then either.
