Hello there.

In this guide I will showcase the location of all Church NPCs in every major city in the world of Black Desert.

I will also go into detail of why they are important, what buffs they give and when to use them.

If you are a new player you might have wondered why some people tend to talk about the "Church" quiet often in BDO.

Well, the main reason why they are important is because they will give you certain buffs in exchange of Gold Bars.

Most people make use of those buffs for either grinding or PvP such as RBF (Red Battlefield), NW (Node War), Siege or GvG (Guild versus Guild). Now it really depends when they come in handy for grinding as some spots are just out of reach of those NPCs and the travel time wouldn't make taking them worth it.

This brings us straight to the next question: What buffs do they even give?

There are a total of three different types of buffs.

1) Attack (AP + Accuracy)
2) Protection (DR + HP)
3) Experience (Combat XP + Skill XP)

Those buffs can be obtained by exchanging x5 "Gold Bar 1G" which can be purchased from any Storage Keeper for 100.000 Silver each. So for either of those three buffs you will pay a minimum of 500.000 Silver.

Why "minimum"? That's a good question!

Well, every single one of those three buffs have three different outcomes. Sounds weird at first but it's basically just another RNG aspect.

What "upgrade" of the buff you get is random. That's why people keep re-rolling their buffs until they are satisfied with what they got.

Now that you know the basics of what the Church NPCs do and what purpose they have you might be interested in finding them, right?
