Looks like they found the exploit which allowed players to get gear without P2W.
Time to start forking in money I guess....
After letting so many people exploit SMH, getting to FULL C20 3 years ago, after letting people trade accounts without any issue, after letting people buy guild funds with real money (i know people who bought over 300-400bil and still are playing), now after the game is almost dead they wake up that PEN items should not have been tradeable? LOL ... what a big joke this game has become
Now not only those people are ruling the game, but now nobody can catch them up, because the same methods (or exploits if you want to call them like that) cannot be used anymore. So they are owning the PvP fields and nobody can catch up.
It would be so nice if there would be a FRESH new start in BDO, where everyone would start from 0, everyone having fair chances to progress, now that all these exploits are removed. But that will never happen. In the meantime, some are drowning in trillions, while others are struggling to make their first PEN, which they cannot even sell anymore, because it's considered RMT.

We will soon post more details about this situation on our website, but basically the trade of high grade weapon has been disabled in the Central Market as we discovered some users were using it in a non-intended way. While we investigate this situation we had to disable the trade of these items.

This is a joke. I enhance tet blackstars for money. I gambled some gear away to tap some. Now I can't sell them, and also can't grind until I do. So thanks for making the game unplayable. You'll NEVER stop people RMT`ing. But thanks for killing the game for the rest of us. RIP BDO. I guess 3 months is all it took for PA to kill this game.

they aren't stepping up. RMT marketplace is almost impossible to prove, unless they made an agreement in game...which you'd have to be the dumbest person alive. All they are doing is screwing the rest of us who enhance for a living.

I have to wonder if a habbit to build fail stacks, such as buying tet greens, busting them down to Tri for a "cheaper" method of pumping a 100 stack to 150 is going to get snagged.

At this point, we don't know if it's RMT or duping or any other exploit. All they've said is that they found some people using the market in an unintended way. It's sad how the actions of a few idiots make the rest of us have to pay. Am I "disappointed" about it? Of course I am. I make "some" of my silver from buying and selling high-end stuff, but I do have other sources of income. A few days without the market isn't going to kill me. If you can't wait a day or three to use the market, then that's on you. Maybe you shouldn't have tied up all your money in one activity.

KAKAO killed the game:
-not doing anything when SMH came with exploits, not removing unfairly earned silver. Nothing happened to the exploiters, but new people were unable to catch up using same methods;
-not doing anything when people bought Guild Payouts. Some bought hundreds of billions until one day they could not. Nothing happened to the exploiters, but new people were unable to catch up using same methods;
With that silver they bought full PEN Gear that is still top gear even after 3 years.
PA now blocks selling of PEN items, what a joke. This should have been done when PEN items became available first, when PEN Dande was being sold for Real Money, when PEN Eye Ruins, PEN Ogre, PEN RCE were sold for real money. I have friends who sold all these items for real money. Blackstars are just a piece in the big puzzle.
What will happen now even if PEN items become unsellable? Those who got away will beat the **** out of those who did not get away using same methods. Those wanting to get there to those high levels must sell their lives to this game or they must gamble their Soul and get punished by the RNG. In the end, guess who wins? The exploiters who never got banned will win ...
This comes from a guy who made a PEN blackstar after dumping 3 years of progress on it, aka almost 300bil of silver.
Solution: when someone earns silver easily, then you introduce inflation, you give EASY ways silver to make silver to everyone else, so they can catch up. But KAKAO never cared, PA never knew because KAKAO never told them. So here we are, in a game where some people made money very easily, through exploits, others have to bend their backs to get to the same level.
Catch up mechanisms = ZERO, besides Gambling. 1 out of 1 million players are RNG carried. I am not. Game Over. Guess who wins? PA by taking our money and telling us that the only way to reach the level of those high geared players (who never spent more than 1000$ on the pearl shop) is through gambling, which requires pearl purchases.
If you wanna fix this, PA, create new servers, after all the game is played only by a few hundred veterans who DO NOT dump silver anymore, because they already have everything. Those veterans are just used to beat and "convince" new players that they must spend a ton of money to reach that level. But it would be much easier to wipe out everything, give everyone a new start, let everyone compete at the SAME level, with PEN items becoming BOUND, preventing any REAL MONEY trade! I would easily dump more than 1000$ on the pearl shop if this would happen, knowing that I compete with other people FAIRLY!
But this will never happen, exploiters are still drowning in silver and this is the reason why I'm leaving the game for the 5th time or so. The game is not, but not healthy. The effects are nice, but that's it. I can enjoy the effects with a free account. For PVP I have to dump 100,000$, while other people dumped just 1000$ and exploited many methods to get where they are.
Conclusion is that pthe rogression wall is impossible to climb in order to reach the top geared guys. If you cannot reach them, you cannot beat them. And no, I don't like getting my *** kicked all the time when I want that 50% drop rate on Arsha for grinding for the potion parts or for other items.

Except that this is a temperary disabling, and they said that when they found a way to fix it they would reenable the selling of high enhanced weapons.
