Tutorial quest capture wooden hors are to hard... used 30 ropes and still not able to capture it
@H2oSpez Had the same problem. They didnt make it clear when you read the quest. You need to follow the path to the waypoint of the location where you need to perform on a specific wooden horse.

It's weird the quest in Heidel allows you to target one of the wooden horses near the quest giver, but that's not the wooden horse you need to use it on.
@GodSlinger Is this that quest from the Progress Pass?
@H2oSpez Capturing a horse may be a bit confusing and hard for the first time. But once you understand the minigame and know what to look out for, it's pretty easy:
- Initially, make sure you are far enough away so that the cursor shows a red target while aiming at the (wooden) horse.
- Press space once (don't hold it) to start the first minigame which is very much the same as catching fishes. Press space again while the bar is inside the correct spot.
- Now you can hold W to walk towards the horse but keep an eye out on the horse. As soon as it raises his hooves, start spamming your spacebar as fast as you can for the duration of the minigame (10 seconds) to keep the bar on the right half.
This part is important: Make sure you stop spamming your spacebar at the end of the minigame. If the 10 seconds are over and you keep spamming space for too long, it will trigger a failure event where the game thinks you pressed space on a wrong time.
- Once you are close enough to the horse where you can interact with it, you can proceed to either give it lumps of raw sugar, or press R to (attempt) to mount the horse. The more sugar you give, the higher your odds are to successfully tame the horse.

Good luck!
@Nicknero Are these instructions for catching/taming/feeding raw sugar lumps to, a wooden horse? I have never caught/tamed a horse, so I'm having a hard time understanding why you inserted "(wooden)" in your instructions.

@Zadamose Currently the __links lead to the Korean version of the game. The website devs have been notified and it will soon be fixed. ^^
@Nicknero Thanks for the quick reply. You were right about it being fixed shortly after. I deleted my original post.
Is the increase in chance to get a higher tier horse from breeding simply an increase to the base chance that can be increased with mastery levels, basically an offset adjustment?
Or have the breeding brackets and such been wholly reworked for this update?
Hard to plan any breeding without concrete knowledge ._.
My friends reset my horse when I was going for dream horse 30 attempts in and they refuse to reverse my horse.
I just want only one thing: to be able to upgrade a horse from T1 (or other) to T8 and dream, whilst keeping the look of the original, t1-t8, whichever I choose to invest in upgrading.
Till then I just ride my horse wagon around and collect mostly useless random colors just for laughs.
I'm done with Training since 2 months, but I'm glad to see them finally worked a few things out.
Enjoy & GL to ya'll Trainers out there <3
There are 3 different ways of breeding horses in Black Desert: Breed a female horse you own with another players male horse from the Breeding Market (your female horse will require at least 1 breeding count) Breed a female and male horse in your own stable. (Both horses will need at least 1 breeding count)
