I'm very confused by this. I think I have seen one gorilla in BDO somewhere around O'dyllita area. While the lore says this guy is coming from Haso how does that work since Haso (BDO's version of China) is not open to the public? 

Oh, I guess this guy better be aesthetically pleasing since most of the forum's consensus on BDO's classes got to be beautiful, hairless with big tits and ass.

2 quick things:

1- Dont take any leak for gospel truth, keep in mind that nova, sage... were datamined with quite a different wording that this "confirmed leak".

2- If it ends being real wukong it's just his code name, where they draw inspiration from, like nova was paladin or sage was male sorcerer on their datamines. Wukong class does not need to be a monkey, just a guy with a kit inspired by wukong.

Personally i think the leak is quite likely to be truth. As they pointed on reddit China just got bdo mobile and in their own Q4 report pearl abyss indicated that they are looking for a strong foothold on the chinese market for the black desert ip so it makes sense the new character would be something most chinese players would find pleasing.

P.S. Haso is not China in bdo, Haso is a mix of asian cultures seeing as they have korean archetypes classes (musa,maewha), japanese classes (ninja,kuno) and chinese classes (tamer, lahn).

I know that Haso is asianesqe and it has taken inspiration from a  combination of asian countries feudal Japan, Korea and China, etc. I just find it weird that they would add "Wukong" as a class in BDO. Every datamine since Archer has been 100% for this game so I'm going to use that as gospel from now on. I realize to that it's a push to bring in more $$$ for the company also.

i love it how all the nerds leap on all those "leaks" and "datamines" when its obv that's devs are sprinkling content to start/keep hype going.

If PA releases a new class for short term gains because they are bleeding players to New World and Lost Ark, I'm definitely done with the game. They should be working their butts off to release the following as soon as possible:

1. Class Reworks/Balance

2. Ranked Battle Arenas (3 v 3 solo queues)

3. New Zone that has the same silver an hour potential as Elvia, not less and not more.

4. RBF rework (15 vs 15 max, capture the flag, no DR/Evasion bonuses, no spawn camping)

5. Group grind spots that has slightly more silver an hour potential as Elvia.
