Hitbox Bug on Prime:Rift Chain
This is not a balance post, this is a bug post. This has been discussed directly with members of PA, videos have been sent in and tickets have been submitted.
The big blue trail for Rift Chain acts like a 30-foot long hitbox, which eats all forms of incoming damage from the beginning to the end of its animation. This issue has been touched upon by other classes before (with their own movement skills not updating their location in real time until the end of the skill animation), but because this skill takes so long to complete and moves slowly, it means taking massive damage for the entire duration.
This is made worse by the fact Succession Sage doesn't have any other way to reliably move even shorter distances. So if he has to reposition, he has to get out that huge trail and eat huge amounts of damage for the privilege.
This causes a great deal of frustration making both high end PvE and PvP an extremely frustrating experience for Succession players. This is a death sentence in certain areas, on a slow squishy class with no sustain.
Please add a faster, short-range alternate movement skill so players can reposition, or find some way to prevent this 30-foot Rift Chain hitbox from soaking up every single hit in the area and getting players killed.
