Quest Reward Mounts with Regional Bonuses

With the more recent focus on lore-based outfits and improving storytelling, could it be an option to include regional mounts as part of a questline to give players another way to be invested and connected to a particular region whilst diversifying the types of mounts available? These mounts could have equal stats as a typical tier 7 horse so they aren't diabolically slow, but aren't competing with the best Horses.

Example mounts and their region talents could be:

Brolina's Grand Ferrina (with a passive ability to travel faster only in kamasylvia) 

Viorencia's Cherished Salun Bear (with a passive to be immune to aggro from mobs only in O'dylitta) 

Lior's Sacred Yak (double jump and fall damage reduction for climbing mountains only in Dreighan)

Fresio's Prized Elk (immune to mob aggro and no carry weight limit for trash loot, only in Calpheon including Elvia) 

Puia's Tamed Mountain Sheep (immune to mob aggro only in Serendia including Elvia)

Igor's Tamed Grey Wolf (immune to mob aggro only in Balenos)

Valencia already has Camels and Elephants, otherwise I might've suggested something like Tamed Valencia Lion or Rescued Lava Fafalun Mount. 

Add Side Step and better Quick Stop as standard for all non-horse mounts and remove level cap

I understand the developers don't want to dethrone Horses as the best mounts available, but considering horses are the only mount with Dream and Mythical varieties, can make silver on the horse market and can be bred to make more of them. Along with their superior stats, skills and greater access to outfits, they already outdo all other mounts by a huge margin.

No one loses out if players are able to level their camels out of agro range of mobs, or improve their training level passively while exploring using non-horse mounts. 

Sure it's not effective compared to horse training, but if I want my Hash to ride a camel, not only am I slower than normal, but it's locked at level 20 and I get nothing out of it in the long run and I don't see a reason for this. 

It doesn't affect the game negatively by allowing non-horse mounts to come to a faster stop, reposition easier and outlevel mobs to avoid aggro.

Just a few ideas, to allow some more customisation with your travel companion, and giving these particular mounts a bit of their own lore and personality. 

Would add also they could buff existing mounts. Donkey (useless as of now, except Shai donkey, and only Shais really can use it), Camel, Mini-Elephant, Alpaca (also Shai, but useless).
Or even implemment permanent Dream Donkey from the 1st April. Make it like an exchange a T9 for that Donkey so its not op.
