Like catDK said evasion is capped at 90%

In addition there is only so much evasion you can purchase and the ethereal earrings at pen only give 3 more evasion at the cost of 65 billion so evasion is actually limited too much.

As I've said numerous times ALL evasion passives should be removed as it gives way too much room to stack ap.

Without passives, evasion build is hard, and you need a second build for pve. So not cheap like all say

Evasion accessories need to be buffed, evasion classes need to be nerfed, look at Lunar neck best tradeoff in game 4 ap for 28 accuracy, what does evasion get? 3 evasion per ap if you're lucky 

^ This, nerf classes and buff gear.

What classes besides striker and mystic are seemingly op with evasion?

Isn't it maybe just a striker mystic problem? Having the base evasion, evasion passive and evasion buffs of an evasion class while having base dr and hp pool of a dr class while also having one of the best class vs class damage modifiers in the game.

It's because people who you couldn't kill have 40 gs over you. 

Most of times evasion gets shredded with accuracy offhand, a few accessories, or eva shredding class. You say evasion is cheap, but you need PEN distos on top of all rest pen ap accs to have high enough ap to kill you.  

You not killing evasion musa sounds like a personal problem. No one has issues killing non gauntlet evasion class, if you have some gear. 

Unlike you wanting to counter fully geared evasion with pve ap set, people actually grind similar amount of silver to get accuracy accessories which have alot better returns than evasion accessories.

So I suggest, stop your complaining and start with a 3b accuracy off hand.

Suggestion/Comments:  uncapped evasion is game breaking, classes that benefits from stacking evasion, those who have evasion passives become unkillable, its create huge cap between not only classes - for example awa DK can't land a hit on eva striker/musa - 100% miss rate, but also its create huge gap between new and veteran players. Evasion gear cheap and have nearly same DP as DP gear, while accuracy gear have insane prices and have sugnificantly lower AP.
Evasion must be capped same way resistance capped, make evasion be equal to DP - do nothing.

terrible idea, accuracy already counters evasion, if you nerf evasion anymore, evasion will be useless

Having only two options for defense is a bad game design flaw.

So fundamentally the fix should come in the form of PA remaking how DP works and incorporating more complex systems for the functionality of DP.

I think a better solution than capping evasion would be removing evasion passives. Most of the classes that have it are perma protected iframe spammers like sorc anyways.

The Long version:

Its mostly a GS Level gap that makes Evasion stand out too much.

Assuming all classes get finalized in terms of mechanics, balanced by making class offensive specialties stand out yet class defensive specialties be able to counter them then its all about timing and skill mostly if for example 2 opponents have close fps and are on a similar Gear bracket. Everyone will play with his strengths and be carefull about his weaknesses.

However alot of patching is required to reach that point for alot of classes still.

There are of course some issues regarding Accuracy vs Evasion Meme Builds due to the abscence of Accuracy modifiers on Class skill.

Its just that DR may be overcome easier then Eva melts.

It's similar to the abscence of DR stacking through active combos/ abilities some used to have. Sucession Warrior DR stacking is good now for example since you can control it effectively with yout abilities.

It suffers a bit against High Evasion ofc so i guess more Accuracy (Gear) can do the trick in some way however that would mean alot of dmg loss for the class so overall you cant go too much Accuracy neither too much AP with it.

I would still not add much though, maybe some accuracy modifiers on Skills but that would be all.

Are there situations where some classes need small adjustments to their capability to stack Evasion? Meaning make them little bit more gear dependant just like most classes are? Sure there's some room but i wouldn't go heavy with it because that would nerf them and ruin their Classes strengths.

I believe the more Evasion/Damage Reduction require ''Active Management'' though, the better. This means we could maintain a classe's DR/Eva capability through ''Active Skill Management'' and tweak the Passives a bit increasing the ''Skill Curve'' involved into defeating DR or Eva as well as the capability of a Player to maintain high defense.

Currently some Evasion Classes would need that to become better balanced ofc some DR classes might require such tweaks as well in a way that ''Actively Maintaining DR or Evasion'' isn't braindead easy.

However i would also change Kutum and Nouver. Make them close AP/ DP (propper numbers for all content but decreasing Nouver AP mostly and increasing DP) since higher AP accesories are coming anyway and turn them into Evasion/ DR equivalents just like the new Gloves are designed.

That way we maintain the current AP capabilities due to the new Accesories but also maintain the current AP Gap between the playerbase without increasing it further.

Currently 300ap is mostly what the game is unless full ap which goes past 320. We dont want to go past that because with high accuracy evasion will be less of a threat but dr will melt even easier so ''New Imbalance'' and we're back at point ''Zero''

The Short Version:

My conclusion is there's more to it then Buffing or Nerfing something. There are alot of details that contribute to the final result and everything's connected so it might take time till we reach a finalized and satisfactory design for all and Buffs or Nerfs usually go in an endless circle forever.

how about removing evasion if you get cc? in the first place why is evasion still active when player is cced? what are you evading on the floor? imho dr is trash because if you build a dr char you wont be killing anyone adn will slowly die with ccs, by removing evasion stat while cced that would make both similarly trash tho you cant cc if you miss wich is kinda ehh for low acc players, lets just fkn remove that dumb stat inthe first place action games dont need shit like acc and evasion you use iframe and dodge your sway there that was something really stupid they put on the game to increase the build variety but it doesnt really does that all it does is cause inbalance betwen classes and players. i know they wont do anything i say and ill be swarmed by evasion fanboy kids that thing this crap adds deep to the game but the truth is that they enjoy abusing this on new players, not everyone likes to keep swaping weapons and gear mid fight not everyone is a no life retarded midmax kid.

This used to be solid advice for most people, but with the new hooms, bitterness, and hatae, evasion builds got a huge chunk of extra DR and suddenly tanking your ap from a nouver will now hamstring your damage unless you are heavily geared to maintain high ap.

PA is slowly correcting with things like new elkarr buff (Even though these are such crap to farm at the moment), but most of the accuracy and damage crystals are now severely behind the crystals that came with LotML.

They should've never add mixed (DR + eva) crystals, but no wonder since they themselves doesn't understand how their own game works.
