At this point it willl certainly never change, but gender lock in term of player preference regarding his character choice for a class is one of the worse idea you could have in a game, especialy in a mmo.

And imho, no game should impose a character gender / design. Except if devs dont have financial ressource to develop a customizable character creation.

Even the "but its in the lore" don't justify this, as you can make the lore say whatever you want ( its all fictional ) and i see no reason why a story / background / personality AS to be bound to a particular gender.

And even IF for X reasons you bound somes event to a gender, i still dont see any reasons why that "personality" couldntn't be considered to have "disciple". Its a mmo with XXXXXXX copy of the same class walking around the game world, therefore the "its unique because i dont have a gender choice" dont make any sense.

I admit the sage is a tough nut to crack. He has a chisled jaw that just refused to go away.  I finally said "F it!" and toss on a forced smile.   At least I am giving options and not just complaining about it.  

Also on both of these I just minimized the body on height, size, and muscle then maxed hip width and chest depth. Not much else to be done there.  They won't win any swimsuit contests anytime soon.

I agree with you here 100%. As we all know Pearl Abyss is now a conglomerate, ever since they acquired CCP Games in 2018 , developer of Eve Online for $425 million US dollars, and became their own game publisher in 2021.  This company has enough to make the needed changes to the editor.  They have enough, they could probably put the first Korean astronaut on the moon.

I prefer to play the male characters in the game because when I'm running around slapping mobs I can relate more to a male character because subconsciously I insert myself into the class I'm playing and when that class is a male I have a more personal mental investment in building up that character. download apps streaming apps

Yeah, makes sense. With 17 female and 9 male, 17 - 9 = 4.

Gender lock is lame. This also locks out most of the content for me. Every time a new class releases and it's female only, it makes it so I don't even what to play it. This literally just kills not only a lot of experiences, but also new content. I'm gear capped and now there is no new content for me. BDO has the most fun combat I've ever had in a game and it's the only thing keeping it alive for me, but there is only so much of the same classes I can play before even I burn out. Please for the LOVE OF GOD, just let us pick gender so your loyal players can also have content.

Look, I'm with  you on everything except for the jiggle physics.  I wanna play a zerker only female with the jiggle physics of the Guardian.  +1 for gender unlock.
