Would you prefer it if there were more group activities in the game?

The time for the MMORPG genre is almost at it's end. Let's face it, why come home from a job, to only have to grind boring content in your hobby for the next 2,000 hours, before you can competitively do the content you want? When you can just play another genre that will allow you competitively play that content with less than a 20 hour grind gate.

Why play an MMORPG for the RP or story experience. When you can just turn on a singleplayer or multiplayer-CO-OP game that will not only give you much better story and or RP experience. But will also allow you to add mods, from Nexus Mods, or Steam Workshop, that adds massive replayablity to it.

Why play an MMORPG for PvP when MMORPG Devs are notoriouslly bad at trying to balance their games. When you can just PvP in a game that monetizes balance and competitive PvP. I hate to say it, but the Battle Royal and MOBA genres made MMORPGs PvP-wise obsolete.

That's just my two cents on the matter. Just think of MMORPG genre like a dinosuar slowly going extinct.

MMORPG and Battle Royal are 2 different types of games. MMORPG are for players who prefer to build your character in longer period from 0 to hero . You cant compare them, there will always be a players who prefer long time grind and building their character and players who prefer just log in play 2 matches and turn off PC.

An MMORPG gives me everything I need: players to play with, a story of a journey in a vast world that continues to expand, character customization, PvE and PvP as well as RP (with real people) and a progress that remains for a longer period of time instead of an RPG that has a story I complete only to start from the beginning in its sequel.
I prefer to always play an MMORPG with or without other games.

Would be nice if there was a dynamic and scaling group system (PVE), has been brought up before.. how any area scales to the group you currently have (would need a lot of work/time and investment PA side, so they wont do unless they realy had too).

as someone that can only play in burst (15 mins) i trun down a lot of offer for group play and have to explain, they wont want someone in the group that need to reast up for 5 mins every 15 mins...

Now if it was dynamic, i could do what i can do (15min maybe 30min on a good day), then drop out for a bit, and rejon when rested.

would not just help someone with my physical issues, but open up all of BDO content to group play (maybe)

(and yeah, before you could turn loot scrolls off, i wasted 50% or more of each, cus i could not manage a straight hour)

If MMORPGs are at it's end, then why are you here and not doing something with your superior game that you want to play?  Why are you slumming it with us peons?

Or do you prefer that you just do most activities on your own?

If you like to do activities with a group, which ones are they?

And if you like doing group activities, do you have any new ideas for group content that you'd be interested to see in the game?

Just questions to open a discussion so please share your thoughts, thanks!

I would like to see a survival mode. Also, would love to see us be able to party with our alts. Or even just one alt. And if there's at least one npc alt in the group then Max group size is cut to four for balance purposes. And Max of two npc alts in one group. There is SO much content potential and probably balance changes if it would be allowed in open world. If I could party with at least one alt I would be happy.
