Outline

This QoL List is a product of the Combined efforts of the Sorceress Discord staff as well as other Awakening Sorcs in the community.
This is an open discussion and as such I encourage all players to also give their thoughts and opinions as well as their own suggestions.

Topics to Be Covered

The QoL Changes that I will be suggesting address skill connection changes and touch on improvements to mobility.

Other changes that do not fall under those catergories will be lumped into "Miscellaneous".

Skill Connection Changes And Improvements

Shadow HellFire icon - Fix/adjust C swap transiton Animation (for example S+C) when transitioning from Main hand into Awakening
Absolute: Bloody Calamity icon

- Fix/adjust C swap transiton Animation (for example S+C) when transitioning from Main hand into Awakening

- Allow for more skill connections for absolute bloody calamity with other absolute main hand skills
Examples :
:se: -> :bc: (eruption -> calamity)
:bk: -> :bc: (beak kick -> calamity)

Soul Harvest icon - Fix Skill Priority with Midnight stinger ( :ms: ).
Currently when Midnight stinger (:ms: )is attempted after Soul harvest ( :sh:) is activated , Flow Soul Reaper  (:s_sr:) will incorrectly activate.
Wings Of The Crow icon -Add Smoother/faster Skill Transition when activating Cartians Protection (:S_block:) after Wings of the crow :s_cw_wotc_wings:
( :s_cw_wotc_wings: -> :S_block: )


Mobility Changes And Improvements

Absolute: Rushing Crow icon - Increase movement distance and increase cast speed. (LEAVE THIS SKILL UNPROTECTED)
Dark Backstep icon - Allow Skill to be Activated by Quick Slot while in Awakening


Miscellaneous

Flow: Soul Reaper icon - Change Protection from Super armor -> to Frontal Guard.
IF this change is made ALSO Implement ONE of the following changes:
1: Allow for Flow: Night crow ( :flownightcrow: ) to be used at any time during skill duration
OR
2: Allow for free camera aim at any time during skill duration.
Swirling Darkness icon - Remove Down smash
Shadow Ignition icon - Remove Air Smash
Absolute: Beak Kick icon - Remove Air Smash

What I would like to see:

- Violation 0 stamina cost when not on cd, the class consumes way too much stamina on PvE and because you removed our PvE iframe she actually gets hard cucked in spots like hexe. The skill isnt even very strong on PvP + its unprotected so people shouldn't complain about this buff

- Remove uppercut from shadow leap, when you click LMB after casting shadow leap, it does an uncancellable slow uppercut that floats. It's completely useless and conflicts with when you're casting grim reaper (RMB+LMB) after shadow leap (if u happen to press LMB 0.1 seconds earlier than RMB , it will do the uppercut instead)

How about fixing the garbage movement this class has. If any other class doesnt want to fight a sorc they can just use their superior movement skills and sorc will be perma chasing and out of stamina like an asthmatic obese American on a mobility scooter.

+20 to 30% distance on every single movement skill is what awk sorc needs

also 0 stam vio, cast speed passive instead of stam and normal base stats

not a single sorc wants "more dmg!!!!"" but when the buff inevitably comes (class is pretty trash) it'll just be more damage on grj as usual

I'd like to see the base character AP increased to match all the other classes. For whatever reason, sorc has the lowest character AP out of all the classes. The base character AP needs to be increased by 10 (which would be equal to other classes base AP). With more and more of the PVP content being capped, there should be no reason we should have to struggle to meet caps. A sorc player needs to out gear their peers on other classes to hit the same AP caps.

But they should really look into other classes kits and tone them down a bit mobility wise instead (zerker, nova, drak, etc)

I would settle for some sembelence of balance. But lets be real, PA has no interest in balance after they just buffed striker dmg again... lol.

Right now basically anyone can disengage on sorc and there is no option for the sorc to meaningfully re-engage the target. Also in pve, extending a rotation with weapons in elvia spots is incredibly frusterating on sorc over longer distance groupings, as well as the dmg buff making sorc be constantly out of stamina in elvia spots because of the unreasonable stamina cost of violation + movement for elvia specific pve. Violation is not even a strong pvp skill anymore, there is no reason it needs to have such a high stamina cost today.

Currently Sorc's only falling animation cancel is Scythe Training, which does not offer much movement and is now unprotected in both PVE and PVP. 

Being thrown out of movement abilities due to fall animation ruins the flow of the game with "Please try again later" popups. The clunky movement can be addressed by any one of the following changes:

- Increasing fall distance before fall animation on Shadow Leap
- Increasing fall distance before fall animation on Engulfing Shadow

- Increasing fall distance before fall animation on Wings of the Crow

- Allowing more than 3 casts of night crow while in the air

Hello. Basically, the sorceress is a good, balanced class, I enjoy playing her.  howewer I would like to point out a few issues with the sorceress class , ficing this would do gameplay better.

1. I would like to discuss with you the mechanics of 'Soul Harvest' skill and possible improvements to this skill.
- Please consider using 'Soul Harvest' skill from non-combat stance. perhaps at least from the fast slot. (0-30 second video)
- In pvp, I like to initiate an attack from the main stance, but when doing so, I need to use 'Soul Harvest' skill to get a cast speed bonus . After that, I need to return to the main stance, for example using "Midnight Stinger " skill. but in such a situation, the following problem arises (after 30 seconds of the video) - after applying 'Soul Harvest' skill (shift + Q) and 'Midnight Stinger' skill (shift + lbm), 'Flow: Soul Reaper' skill (lbm after certain skills) is triggered. Could you improve the link between 'Soul Harvest' and 'Midnight Stinger' depending on the pressed buttons? https://youtu.be/_tyc5CQljfI

2. general mobility issue. hard to catch up with fast classes. increasing the movement distance or adding a movement skill Flows could improve the situation.

3. Improve Dead Hunt  skill. it has long cast (4 attacks) and few dmg. what about to increase speed cast or change it to 2-3 attacks? that helps pve pvp both.

4. it would be nice to add an attack speed debuff to enemies on any awakening skill

5. I cant use T3 morfs effectively while CDs 20 and 25 sec(

6. some  fantastic ideas like - Nightmare cleanses debuffs or you get HP recover +200 while nighmare.

7. pve potation on my oppinion needs only increasing pve dmg on X.

PS: Agree with SpiritOfSun, exept  Miscellaneous.

I would be happy with some changes to Bloody Contract included there, % healing might be too much but at least increase the heal numbers for a bit more. Also moving the -dp debuff from Violation or Absolute Darkness or both somewhere else, not sure where to though. The suggestions are good, Absolute Rushing Crow extra distance would be really nice since it's completely unprotected.
